Monthly Rentals in Elmstone

We booked for the month of December and spent Christmas at Peper. We were able to bring our two cats with us and Henrietta was lovely about this. Peper was tucked away in a lovely village with friendly villagers with a great butchers and village shop selling all the basics you may need for your stay and Peper was close enough to walk to these shops. Peper is situated in peaceful countryside and had a lovely small garden and outside sitting area although we were unable to use this as the weather wasn't too great! The tv stopped working on the 23 Dec and this was replaced very quickly with a new tv - what great service! In all a very enjoyable stay and Peper quickly became home to us.

For a little getaway into the NE Kent countryside this place was perfect for us. We stayed in the stable and they also have the granary. They gave us a lovely welcome box of goodies, even asking in advance about our preferences. It is relatively small but feels spacious as they have used the available space really well. The outside table and chairs must be in a sheltered sun trap at some part of the day though rain was more a feature of our visit; we were staying as had a family wedding to attend at nearby Preston Court Farm (walkable). A point to note is that if supremely tall then the upstairs here may prove tricky; I’m 6’ (1.82m) but found it ok for me without having to bend. The place had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and the wifi was excellent. The hosts were spot on to deal with from booking to leaving. We would happily return but, then again, there’s still so many more oarts of the country to explore! Great stay, thanks. Lyndon and Jo

My adult daughter and I had some precious time together, just a few days, in your beautiful thatched cottage. It was just what we hoped for: peaceful, picturesque, with a lovely private outdoor space. The location was perfect for us too. We went on some walks heading straight out from the cottage into the countryside. We had a day in Sandwich, which was just gorgeous & went on a river boat trip to see the seals which was amazing. There was a good choice of local pubs to eat out at, some within walking distance & others just a few minutes away in the car. Tim and Lisa were perfect hosts, very responsive to any queries and gave us the privacy that we needed. Many thanks!
