Holiday rentals with breakfast in English Channel

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

We had an exceptional stay at Chantal and Jean's Charle. Their warm welcome made us feel immediately well. The accommodation, spacious and clean is perfect for relaxing in a quiet setting. Its location is ideal for exploring the region, with nearby restaurants, including Arromanches-sur-Mer and Bayeux, only 5 km away. Every morning, Chantal and Jean Charle prepared us a delicious breakfast, highlighting fresh products, accompanied of an excellent homemade cake. A big thank you to our hosts for their generosity and for making our stay so memorable!

Incredible suite, on our arrival we were greeted by Richard, very kind, good explanations on the use of the devices, very available, communication via Airbnb was also excellent with Pierre; responsive and precise in his answers. It's a little cocoon that exudes calm and harmony, we had a wonderful stay, very comfortable bedding, the ceiling height is also very pleasant, it's simple we loved everything! A big thank you and we'll be back!

Patricia and Yann are incredibly kind, very attentive hosts! The little house has a crazy charm, the environment is beautiful. The icing on the cake... a royal breakfast! A stay at the end of the world, just perfect😊

Lovely stay in the flat - place was clean and tidy and felt right at home. Buses are within a 5 min walk so getting into Brighton town centre/beach by public transport was easy. 10/10 would stay here again

Christiane’s place was absolutely beautiful. The view of Mont Saint Michel was stunning. The house was very clean, spacious, and had everything we were looking for. She even had bikes that we were able to use! She is very responsive and was so gracious to accommodate our request for a late check out. I highly recommend Christiane’s house and I can’t wait to stay again next time we visit.

We had a great stay! The house was beautiful, well-equipped, and in a great location. Everything was clean and thoughtfully set up with plenty of supplies. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

The stay at Sandra's was perfect, ideal for a romantic weekend! The place was clean, well decorated and well equipped. The apartment was well located close to the beach🌊. Sandra advised us well. I would recommend it 100%

Me my partner and dog had a brilliant stay, Barrie and Paula could not have been helpful enough with any issues we had. Would 100% recommend to anyone else looking to stay in the Poole/Bournemouth area. We have no quarms in booking to stay here again.

Small nest in a quiet street in the heart of the upper town. Everything is within walking distance and we didn't use the car for 3 days. That's nice! A gift of a bottle of cider! We'll be back for sure!

Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

Delightful stay. :) Hosts were helpful, friendly, and very welcoming, and the property is gorgeous! Set in beautiful surroundings, and felt right at home in the perfectly appointed accommodation - would absolutely recommend!

The great thing about Airbnb is the unique places you end up at. Beth’s was delightful. You know you are in someone’s home straight away. Full of character and charm. Everything catered for; milk, bread and eggs were really appreciated. Lovely property in every respect.

We had a fantastic few days at Simon's apartment in Brighton. It is the perfect distance from the tourist attractions at the beach/the Laines, the train station and some of the other neighborhoods. The apartment was cozy and comfortable with fun decorative touches. Simon was friendly and super responsive. Highly recommend!

Very nice apartment, original and warm. We came across the music festival and the heatwave but by closing the windows and thanks to the fan, the night was peaceful. Very good communication with Yohann, responsive and attentive. Thank you.

We were delighted to return to this beautiful apartment after our first stay in April 2025. It was the perfect place to stay for us, a real home away from home. The flat, as the photos show, is beautifully furnished and has absolutely everything you could want. Great modern shower room, comfortable bedroom, great seating area with all the tv networks you could ever need, but the real star of the apartment is the kitchen area, it’s so gorgeous! When you couple a great apartment with excellent hosts who go above and beyond with not just thoughtful extras like milk, bread, butter, cereal, jams, fruit juice, tea and coffee but also with friendly, helpful interaction and advice on questions such as parking etc, you really get the perfect break. I highly recommend this apartment and these great hosts and look forward to returning again in the future.

A lovely little place with beautiful surroundings! Everything was great, and there was plenty of clear communication. Perfect for what we needed!

Staying at Crean Mill was a joy from start to finish- Grace and Steve strike the perfect balance of the friendly personal touch with giving you space and privacy…. The scones and cream were a delightful extra treat on arrival and the system of leaving the cool box with a delicious breakfast outside the room at a time that suits you works a treat. The room was beautifully furnished with everything you need and the garden is absolutely beautiful. We had a peak at the Shepherds Hut as well, which is also available to rent, and that was just as beautiful and very private. Our visit was based around a trip to the Minack Theatre and it was the perfect location for this, but also a great spot for visiting Penzance and Sennen Cove. Very good local recommendations from Grace and Steve as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!!!

Howell and Susie were the best hosts we have experienced. They were so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed meeting their friends and neighbours out by the Duck Pond for a wonderful evening get together. A wonderful experience we will not forget. Absolutely stunning property, Janet and Hugh are the perfect hosts who made our stay memorable, we were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary and they included such lovely little extras which was so thoughtful. The continental breakfast was perfect with a fantastic assortment, the fresh bread each morning was delicious. Mevagissey is a beautiful little town, we walked down most evenings to eat, we enjoyed The Sharksfin. We visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan which was stunning, also took ferry to Fowey which was a lovely day, the walks from the property along the coastal paths are amazing, bit tough at times for us two oldies but we managed. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Janet and Hugh again, we already miss Mevagissey and will return.

Second stay at this wonderful place, our Surveyor Paul was very much looking forward to going back and it didn’t disappoint. Thanks Maria for being a great host.

This apartment was in a perfect location for exploring Woolacombe and the surrounding area. It was spotlessly clean and had so many thoughtful touches such as some milk, tea, coffee and buscuits for arrival and much more. Although the parking was slightly up the hill in the local village hall you could pull up safely outside to load and unload. The Beach House restaurant just a few doors down served delicious food. The lack of TV may put some people off booking here but this is actually a great opportunity to enjoy the view, read a great book and connect with your partner. A perfect little place.

Such a beautiful place. Captured our UK country cottage dream. The garden is beautiful and the home made breakfast was a really special treat. Thankyou so much for your excellent hospitality.

A little paradise cocoon in the heart of the village of Bréhat: the beautiful garden, a haven of peace; the dog who comes to say hello in the morning , the XXL breakfast in the sun with the birds singing... The room is small but very comfortable and well decorated , the only downside is the plastic curtain separating the room with the shower and toilet: not functional or efficient , a simple fabric curtain would be more convenient . Ideal for one or two nights because we can't cook too much, although there is a microwave and a kettle , but we didn't need it because we had family in another cottage on the island and there are many restaurants in the village . In short, a great place on this island that I know well but always delights me so much with every stay!
