Chalet holiday rentals in English Channel

The accommodation is very clean, very functional, the location is very quiet. Aime Marie is a very welcoming person. We recommend this very friendly accommodation without hesitation.

we had a great week at Jean-François and Nathalie's. The chalet, a little rustic, has everything you need to feel at home. We loved the quiet, just the birds and the sheep. The jacuzzi is a plus, especially after beautiful hikes. we recommend this place which is only 1 km from the sea.

Beautiful view of the garden. Could have a good picnic there with a nice barbecue grill and plenty of seating. Bed is very comfortable. Fruit and breakfast items were greatly appreciated.

Our second visit to this super property. Spotlessly clean throughout with everything you could need for your time away. The weather was great whilst we were staying so we were able to make good use of the decking overlooking Swanage Bay. Judith was very quick to respond when we had a question and she also recommended plenty of places for us to visit. Milk tea coffee and Dorset biscuits were left for us when we arrived which was a welcome treat when we arrived. Many thanks Judith and we will look forward to returning again next year.

A perfect setting to clear my brain of all the clutter that builds up over time. Peace & quiet to read & read & then read some more. Will be booking to go back again later in the year. Kim is the best host.

Right before I booked, I sent Fiona a query. She was very responsive and reached out many times before my stay. Fiona offers to pick you up from the Red Jet terminal and you honestly feel like you have met before. I got the earlier ferry than planned and Fiona happily picked me up. Fiona gave me all the information I needed in the drive to the cabin, about buses and the island. If you are coming without the car, the buses are so easy to use and this is from a non bus user at home. The app is easy to use and the journey planner is fantastic. You can get anywhere you need to go from Newport. The cabin itself was spotless with fantastic views of the Solent. The waves can be heard from the beach as you sit on the decking. Fiona and Derek are both very friendly. Fiona provides many extras that I didn't expect. She really has thought of everything. Cheese scones, breakfast items, tea and coffee. It's an easy 20 minute stroll to Cowes along the seafront, 5 minutes to Gurnard.

We spent 2 nights at Stéphanie's with my daughter. I chose this accommodation especially for the jacuzzi, and the proximity to the coast, while having peace and quiet for the nights. Our stay was perfect. Very clean, quiet accommodation, and in the evening we enjoyed the jacuzzi with the countryside as a backdrop, and the birds singing. The welcome by Stéphane, who was very smiling (who carried our suitcases to the inside), as well as Stephanie during our departure. I hope to be able to go back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is cute and charming, but the best part is the location on the beach. So easy to walk right out and see the gorgeous ocean!

Great place to stay with a large group and within walking distance of Canterbury town centre where there is plenty of places to shop, eat and drink. Slightly disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t available, but it wasn’t the end of the world. Would definitely stay there again.

Olya was very friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. The house and garden is beautiful, very peaceful and an amazing layout for a group stay :) We were given a lot of local recommendations and I will definitely return

Great stay in Saint Jean le Thomas The place was perfect for those 2 days

Beautiful location well connected to some stunning parts of the Dorset county including Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast. The chalet was really well equipped and the kids loved it especially and are keen to go back. It definitely felt like a home from home. Stephen was great at communicating too.

Joe was a great host and provided all information requested. Arrival was straightforward plenty of space. House was clean and welcoming. Photos need updating as property has been extended further. Shepherd hut in Garden was a great addition however it is cited at the bottom of a steep incline. The hot tub was a great addition and used well journey to the beach was about 15 minutes and parking was difficult but manageable. Shops et cetera were a short drive from the house. There were not many places to eat locally but plenty of takeaways if you needed them. A very enjoyable week in a lovely area about 30 minute drive to New Forest. Definitely worth considering.

We had a pleasant stay, the chalet is very pleasant, the downside is karting nearby (acceptable noise) . For the rest it's perfect for families or friends ( activities , shops and beach nearby ) We'll be there again😉.

Absolutely stunning lodge, very spacious with lovely views of the ocean. Very comfortable and homely feel. Hot tub was private and very clean. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back. Thank you Lorraine

Thank you for this lovely stay that my parents and nephews had. They loved it. Your future hosts can come without a second thought.

The caravan was extremely clean and well equipped. Reg always responded to my emails and texts straight away which was so reassuring. Our 2 year old grandchild was with us and a travel cot was installed in the bedroom. The South West walkway was just a short distance from the caravan and Chisel beach can be seen from the caravan's balcony. We had a chill out weekend but there is so much to see in the surrounding area. We had a most enjoyable stay.

The experience of the wooden house in the middle of the marsh is to be recommended to all those who love the connection with nature. A place where you can feel good.

Board game night with family, by the fireplace, in a charming cottage with neat decoration, very comfortable and perfectly equipped. Beautiful walks nearby. Thank you so much for your hospitality, availability and responsiveness. Special mention for the bedding, fireplace, toys and super well-equipped kitchen! We didn't lacked anything and were hosted very well.

We had an enchanting stay! The place is peaceful and what a joy to enjoy the Nordic bath, the terrace and the living room with views of the pond and the animals (squirrel, frogs, geese, birds, duck and their young). Everything was true to the description and photos and the check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. We highly recommend this place.
