Exactly as described a perfect slice of reclusive heaven! Wish the weather was slightly better but hey that's the UK. Amazing, the small personal touches such as the scones were lovely! The dogs loved being in the garden next to the sea- I have never seen so many zoomies! The WiFi really is intermittent but why would you need it, when your view and surroundings are so wonderful!

Beautiful small cabin house on the cliffs, majestic views of the sea with incredible sunsets. The large sea facing windows bring nature into the home. Perfect getaway from Paris, walking distance to restaurants and a great oyster shack on the promenade.

The Bothy is an amazing space in a fantastic location. Quiet, tranquil and definitely off-grid. Helena was a welcoming, friendly and helpful host who provided everything we needed. The Bothy is beautifully appointed and very relaxing to inhabit. There are many places to visit locally if you can tear yourself away. This place is absolutely ideal for people looking to get away from it all. It is described as "off-grid" and it is - so make sure you take fully-charged power banks. We will definitely return!

Me and my partner had a wonderful mid-week retreat at Tracy’s Annex! Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, the place was just lovely. We had access to the hot tub and the heated pool which was just amazing! It felt totally private, we were never disturbed but always just a message away if we needed anything- Tracy has some fab recommendations and knows the area so well. The walks around are beautiful and the wildlife we saw was brilliant! There’s so much I could say but my real highlight was Tracy’s 2 golden labs, they’ll come and say hello when out in the garden and they are such love bugs! Totally made my day as a dog lover! Would stay again and would recommend to others. X

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Lovely stay at this property - it had everything we needed including a great view to the Dungeness lighthouse. Hosts were really helpful and responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

A great little secluded hideaway very close to the sea and coastal paths. Bed was super comfy too. Lots of places to visit nearby including quaint harbours, such as Mevagissey, for fish and chips and/or Cornish ice-creams and of course the fabulous Lost Gardens of Heligan are a great place to spend an entire day. Our hostess Jules was quick and friendly when responding to my queries too. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful Easter stay at the treehouse. It is a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere - we felt like we were nesting in the trees- with lovely woods for our children to play in (there was an epic Easter egg hunt). But it is also very close to lots of places of interest to explore. Very cosy to return to after a day out with a very clever and well stocked kitchen. Our kids loved their sleeping loft, the wood burner and the visiting cat. We will definitely come back

We had such a wonderful stay for my partners birthday, Clive went the extra mile to make us feel welcome by putting up some birthday decorations and leaving us some treats for when we arrived. It's a perfect place to get away and unwind in nature, we were always surrounded by animals whether it was Norman the cat visiting during a bbq, hanging out with the goats, or watching the ducks drift about in the stream while relaxing in the hot tub. Thank you very much to Clive and Nikki for hosting us. I cannot recommend Kingfisher enough, we truly had an amazing time :)

Amazing from start to finish! Great communication, easy directions, smooth self check in and a lovely rural peaceful location! We all felt very welcome. The Shepherd’s Hut was spotless and very well prepared for us with a thoughtful little welcome gifts. We really appreciated the attention to every single detail! The guide book with local tips was very useful. Now I regret not booking more nights as this was only a little stop on our way down to south Cornwall, but we’ll definitely be back! We had a lovely night at the Igloo. Kate was very helpful. The wood fired hot tub was great. The location is really good for local walks.

Beautiful setting and a beautifully built log cabin. Peaceful and tranquil. Well worth the money and we will return in the future. Visitors need to visit the anchor inn in seatown for lovely food and drinks

Wow - the most beautiful cabin! The owners really have thought of everything, even a toy for our dog 🥰. The garden is enclosed which was perfect for our dog to run around. The hot tub was really hot on arrival, the bath and shower facilities are stunning. We will 100% be visiting again.

Our stay at this charming seaside cabin was magical, breathtaking views whilst listening to the sound of the waves all day made for a perfect escape and a well earned reset. Everything within the cabin made it feel like home from home and we could not fault the attention to detail, thanks to Louise we had a great couple of days. A perfect 48-hour escape from London! We couldn’t have found a better place for a quick countryside getaway. The Barn is the ideal spot to unwind and truly disconnect from city life—immaculate, beautifully curated, and full of thoughtful touches. Emma is a fantastic host, clearly passionate about creating a warm and welcoming space. We especially loved spending the evening outdoors with a BBQ, then getting cosy inside by the wood burner. The locally sourced jam and butter, plus fresh eggs from Emma’s own farm, were such a lovely bonus. We left feeling rested and recharged—already dreaming of coming back!

Wow. We had a beautiful stay here. Absolute tranquility!! We were provided with very clear instructions on how to get there, so despite the cottage being away from any main roads it was very easy to access with zero confusion. The link to the app given prior was super helpful, we spent the day in Horsham which was a short drive away and went on gorgeous walks thanks to recommendations from the app! We advised Kate that we were vegan so not to worry about welcome snacks...to our surprise we had vegan treats, bread, Prosecco and oat milk which was such a lovely surprise! The home itself is gorgeous, so clean, cosy and warm. Lots of amenities in the kitchen to help cook up an evening meal. All the books, decor, blankets etc are beautiful touches and the grounds are lovely. Could easily stay a few more nights and we truly had a magical time. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

what we loved the most was it was so peaceful . it had such a great view from the bedroom window . the bed was so so comfortable. the hot tub was great which made the stay there even more special . the host Anna was so friendly and very helpful .

Anna and Shaun were welcoming and helpful. The cabin was perfectly located in the midst of the South Downs allowing us to walk straight out of the cabin and into the beautiful countryside. A great location to explore the Whitterings and further afield. Cosy, warm and perfectly catered for a couple with great kitchen utensils to cook basic meals and breakfast. The cabin even has a cosy outside area which we thoroughly enjoyed sitting in on a summers evening with the view of the South Downs.
