Beautiful cottage. Great backyard deck. Updated kitchen. It felt like home. I loved the quiet. It was kinda like glamping, surrounded by a camping environment with a beautiful home with all the amenities in the center.

We had a great stay! Beautiful lake view out the back, and very relaxing atmosphere. Several fun things to do on the property. We enjoyed our time at Alana’s!

Our stay was wonderful. I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and this place was spotless. I would stay here again depending on how many people are in my party as they did have the set limit of 10. My recommendation when looking for the place is to go through the American flags. We arrived late at night and I was not completely sure I should drive through it in the pitch dark. Thankfully my sister had already come by and was able to tell me that. The host probably would have too as she was very responsive to any questions.

The place felt just like home. We came into town for a sports event, and the home with the pool was just what we needed. The home was clean, felt safe, and the host takes pride in his home. The neighborhood is quiet, the pool is huge, it has beautiful grass, landscaping, the kitchen has a great stove, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms have bidets! Our kids said they could live here. We highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our daughter’s 12th birthday with she and her friends. It was the perfect set up- even prettier in person. The hosts allowed us to rent their boat for the day and were able to take the girls tubing. It was a blast. The lake reminded us of hot springs. Perfect designated areas to water tube without stumps. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and bed were comfortable. We would def stay there again. Highly recommend. Thank you Becky and John

We traveled from Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia to Ruston for my daughter’s graduation, and this guest house was the perfect home base for our close-knit family — including my 18 month niece and daughter’s dog! With a group of eight, we needed a space that offered both comfort and privacy, and this property delivered. The primary suite was especially appreciated by my mom, who enjoyed having her own peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the celebrations. As a bonus, we got to enjoy the live music from a nearby event venue, which added to the festive atmosphere without being disruptive. The home was well-equipped, cozy, and just what we needed to make this special weekend even more memorable. Highly recommend for families looking for a spacious and relaxing stay in Ruston!

Markus, you outdid yourself! We hosted our family reunion meet & greet at your Airbnb and WOW it was everything we hoped for and more! The ambiance was perfect warm, welcoming, and full of good vibes. My family is still talking about how beautiful and peaceful everything felt. It was one of those experiences where you just had to be there… absolutely speechless! Markus had the BEST customer service responsive, kind, and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. Communication was top-tier, and he made sure we had everything we needed. This was more than just a space it was the perfect kickoff to our reunion weekend. We’ll most definitely be booking again. Thank you for helping us make memories we’ll never forget!

Sommer's place was nice and roomy for our large family stay. We were in town for ULM graduation and it was nice to have everyone under the same roof and a comfortable place to hang out.

This is our second time staying at one of Glenda‘s homes. Her homes are beautiful fresh smelling, and very well decorated. She’s such a wonderful host. We will always look for her Holmes when traveling to Louisiana.

Leighanna was friendly and very responsive. The home was cozy and we felt right at home.

This was the perfect place for our friends/family gathering. The boys loved the pickleball court and ping pong table! Greg was so helpful and will to accommodate our schedule.

This house was amazing! Definitely brand new, super clean with great decor. The beds were extremely comfortable I didn't want to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The location was absolutely ideal—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for our family of four and our furry friend. It truly felt like a home away from home. Our host, Richard, was amazing from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. Even after we left, Richard's hospitality continued—when we realized we had left an item behind, he immediately checked with his cleaning team, confirmed it was there, and worked with me to make sure it was returned safely. That level of care and service is rare and so appreciated. We highly recommend this cottage and would absolutely stay here again!

The home was located in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood, while being centrally located to La Tech and downtown Ruston. Ashley was proactive in reaching out to provide check-in instructions prior to our arrival. The home was clean and spacious enough to have 6 adults stay for the weekend comfortably.

The carriage house at Layton Castle was absolutely gorgeous. You can tell that Pam not only cares about the guest experience, but also the history and preservation of the property. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time we’re in Monroe. And it is abbbsolutely haunted (by very pleasant and humorous ghosts!) if you’re into that.
