Notre séjour chez Marju et son époux s’est merveilleusement bien déroulé. Dès notre arrivé, nous sommes accueillis par la très gentille Marju qui se soucie de notre bien être. Le logement est impeccable et est encore mieux que dans la description et l’endroit est magnifique et magique. En plein cœur d’un grand espace forestier, nous nous sentons en communion avec la nature et les animaux. Le logement est reclus dans la forêt et nous sommes très tranquille. Nous avons adorés passer du temps dans ce logement et nous avons apprécié les échanges avec Marju et son époux qui sont deux personnes adorables. Le sauna et la cuisine au feux de bois (bbq mis à disposition) (une hache pour couper du bois est même à disposition si on veut faire ressortir notre âme de bûcheron) nous plongent dans une atmosphère d’aventure qui nous a extrêmement plu. Si on se débrouille un peu, on arrive à cuisiner. Un frigo est mis à disposition J’espère revenir un jour!!! 🫶

Just leaving from an idyllic week long stay at this beautiful lakeside property. The location is perfect, being 30 mins from Helsinki and 5 mins from the nearest town. The property and grounds are spacious but homely. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything that you could need to self cater including an outside grill/BBQ. The main selling point however is the outdoor spaces: Sauna, hot top, sun chairs on the jetty, swing bench and choice of outdoor eating areas. The area is very peaceful...prefect for unwinding from the daily grind!

Beautiful cottage with a great view of the lake. Lakeside sauna was amazing. Cottage was well equipped and easy to reach by taxi. Will definitely visit again!

Oikein mukava ja kotoisa, perinteinen mökki nykyajan mukavuuksilla. Kaikki tarvittava löytyi ja ekstraakin. Viestintä isännän kanssa äärimmäisen ystävällistä ja hyvin tervetullut olo! Very cozy and homely, really traditional Finnish summer cottage experience with modern facilities - hot water, electricity - all what we needed. Communication with the host really friendly and they made us feel very welcomed!

If you want a traditional cabin in the woods with mod cons then this is the place for you. The cabin is ideally located to explore all of Southern Finland, and when you're done for the day the supermarket is either on your way back or a 5 minute detour. The location is quiet and peaceful. We were lucky with the weather so were able to sit out most evenings with a glass of wine and enjoy the serenity. The cabin has everything you need, and the bathrooms have been well thought through. Matti offers use of the Hot Tub, and Boat for a small fee, and the first pack of logs fort the sauna or wood stove are included. The lake is literally 50m from the door, but you are far enough away that the Mosquitoes aren't a problem. Although we don't have children the extra touches for children are great.

Paikka soveltui mainiosti porukkamme majoituspaikaksi. Paikka oli tunnelmallinen ja kotoisa mökki kukoistavan kesäpuutarhan ympäröimänä. Viihdyimme hyvin ja mahduimme 6hlön kanssa mukavasti.

Mukava majoituspaikka lähellä Helsinkiä, mutta kuitenkin omassa rauhassa.

Nice small cabin aside of the main house. Equipped with enough blankets and heaters, still quite cold if to not use sauna / fireplace if you are out for a day. There is a guide for everything you might need, and as a bonus you can meet a great friendly host’s dog (though still ask if it is okay to pet it) :)

Mökki oli hurmaava ja sen moderni ja kodikas sisustus yhdistyi kauniisti luonnonläheiseen ympäristöön. Suosittelemme tätä kohdetta lämpimästi kaikille, jotka etsivät rauhallista ja viihtyisää majoitusta. Yhteydenpito majoittajan kanssa oli nopeaa ja ystävällistä.

Nice cottage with enough space for two and up to four people. For people with knee issues or limitations in walking stairs we cannot recommend it due to the really long stairs to the Sauna. jussi and Joanna were really kind and responsive. we would come back again :)

Lovely and well kitted-out cabin where you can enjoy peace and quiet. The nature around was amazing and as we visited during winter, we had the opportunity to enjoy sauna and cold water swimming. Perfect size for two couples! 😊

Todella hyvä sijais asunto remontin ajaksi. Kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi. Sijainti todella rauhallinen. Vuokraaja todella mukava ja joustava.

We had a wonderful stay at Katariina’s cabin with the private sauna. The peaceful, private setting in nature made it a perfect escape. The cabin was cozy and well-equipped, and the sauna was an amazing way to unwind. Katariina’s warm welcome and hospitality made the experience even more special—she was a truly great host. Nuuksio National Park is just minutes away and offers beautiful trails and scenery. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to relax and disconnect. We left feeling refreshed and would highly recommend this unique getaway. Thank you, Katariina, for a memorable stay!

Lovely place in nature, easy to get to with public transport if you're willing to walk a while. Extremely helpful and nice host with clear instructions to everything. Would definitely recommend!

Mökki on juuri niin kaunis kuin kuvissa näyttikin, hyvällä maulla sisustettu ja kuitenkin kotoisa! Aivan omassa rauhassaan, mutta julkisille uimapaikoille ja bussipysäkille helppo kulkea. Upea juhannuspaikka: laaja ulkoalue, mukava terassi ja ihana sauna. Voin suositella lämpimästi - tosin isommalla porukalla vierasmajaa käyttävien on hyvä tietää, että kesällä valo voi pitää hereillä ja pisimpien kavereiden kannattaa nukkua päämökissä. Kiitos Herkolle, joka vastasi nopeasti kun avainten saamisessa oli hämmennystä. Ohjekirjanen kannattava, mutta tosiaan avainten osalta oli sekaannusta. Muutenkin omistautunut majoittaja, jonka ansiosta meillä oli oikein mukava viikonloppureissu luonnon helmassa! Kiitos!🌞

The cottage is in a beautiful area. All amenities are available and the kitchen and grill were great to make food together. There were sugar ants in some parts of the cottage but other than that it was clean and cozy.

I had a wonderful two-night stay in this compact cabin, which had everything I needed. The authentic Finnish sauna was a highlight, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay.

Aivan ihana pikkusaunamökki maalaismaisemassa. Ehdottomasti paikka jos haluat rahoittua ja viettää rauhallista kahdenkeskistä aikaa. Suosittelen!
