Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

Central Townhouse with Secret Courtyard and Pool

Our home, features an original fireplace, flagstone floors, and local furnishings. Enjoy the courtyard garden and pool (a quiet relaxing space, our neighbours appreciate their tranquility too). The neighbourhood is quiet but attractions like the Pont d'Avignon, restaurants, and bars are all less than 10 minutes on foot. A parking space is within a 3-minute walk. You will not use the car in town but is will be great to explore Provence by day and return to your tranquil haven each evening.

Village house in Rochefort-du-Gard

Rochefort-du-Gard, on the Castelas hill in the center of the village. Renovated village house, with a “vintage winemaking” vibe. The house is on three levels: On the ground floor, the entrance and the vaulted bathroom (showers are seated only under the vault); On the 2nd floor, the living room, with the kitchen and a sofa that can be converted into a double bed. On the 2nd floor, the bedroom with a queen-size bed. Ideal base for exploring Avignon, Nîmes, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and more.

Small new industrial and modern style LOFT with air conditioning, 40 m², for 2 people (but 1 child can sleep on the extra sofa bed). This Loft is located on a Wine Estate in the heart of the vineyards. It is adjoining the owners' bastide but totally independent. Entry is north of the bastide. Access to the owners' pool (from 01/07 to 15/09) and to the pétanque court daily from 10AM UNTIL 6PM. On the day of your arrival the pool is accessible until 7pm.
