Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Felin-Fach

It was a lovely place to stay. My dawg enjoyed people watching especially the ones walking their dawgs. Everything you needed plus a downstairs loo which I didn't know about.

A very peaceful location, friendly hosts and an adorable dog called Dotty! Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation, just 10 miles from Hay-on-Wye so the perfect place to stay.

Sarah’s place is very unique - a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the spectacular countryside yet only 20 mins drive from Hay-on-Wye. The cottage was charming, lovely bed linen and super comfy beds. A great place to relax in the evening with a very well equipped kitchen and stylish lounge. I would highly recommend this place - it has a wonderful soothing quality. Sarah is truly a “super host” with lots of good advice and knowledge of the area. We will definitely be back!

The Cider Press Barn made an excellent base for our short holiday. We found it comfortable and well-presented with good facilities. We liked the quiet rural location, off road parking and pleasant bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. Rosie responded promptly to any queries and kindly left us a welcome gift of delicious local apple juice and homemade jam and gin. We visited some lovely gardens in the area including Rhodds Farm, Brobury House, Hergest Croft, Burford House and Stockton Bury, all within easy driving distance. Thanks Rosie - we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and with lovely furnishings. Plenty to do on the doorstep, fantastic location. Will definitely come again!

It was lovely to stay wth Christine and Jak in their delightful home. They kindly let me prepare a simple meal and were interesting and fun to share time with but also gave me my own space. Gorgeous garden and a very peaceful location. Perfect for me. Thank you both. I will be back!!

A group of my friends and I booked this stay for my 25th birthday. It was my best birthday yet and can largely put that down to the stay! Helens support when allowing me to flex my booking was absolutely superb. I found myself in difficult personal predicament and she resolved it quickly and without fuss. I’ll be forever grateful Helen. The accommodation is beautiful and the pictures do the property justice. The views across Hereford on a beautiful sunny evening were stunning. Facilities in the house are great, every little thing has been thought about. I couldn’t decide which room I liked most….just a lovely place and I’ll definitely be a returning guest. ❤️

What a lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean, well furnished and it is no wonder as the owners have an interior design company. A visit to the shop in the main house is worth a visit. We stayed in this building many years ago when it was a hotel. What a huge transformation and definitely for the better. Great location for visiting all the sites in the forest. Highly recommend and will be definitely be staying again.

I had a lovely last-minute stay at Liz’s place — it was absolutely perfect for a quiet night away. It had everything and more needed for it. The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly what I needed. Liz was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I would 100% return. Highly recommend!

Rics communication was excellent at all times. The location is ideal, being on a quiet street but just a casual 5 min stroll to the lovely Clifton shops and restaurants. If you like public transport the bus to central Bristol is 50m away..The home is beautifully furnished and everything worked fine. The bedroom at the back was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Great location for access to Gower and the wonderful beaches and countryside.

We really enjoyed staying in this charming former dairy cottage. The views are simply breathtaking and the ground floor apartment was very comfortable. We loved having our breakfast on the little terrace and a lie on the grass at the end of the day was very relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. Attractive furnishings g made for an uplifting stay. Liz made us feel very welcome. Crickhowell a short drive away is delightful and we particularly enjoyed our lunch at The Bear. We hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay and Gwen and John's place. They were both very welcoming and everything was so comfortable. It was great to have the alpacas at the bottom of the beautiful gardens. The welcome pack was fantastic with home made jam and a loaf of bread. The location is fantatic within easy reach of the Shropshire hills and some lovely market towns such as Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Bridgenorth. Definitely looking at booking again.

I am an avid Airbnb person. Kates place was truly one of the best kept and managed places, we have stayed in Clean, comfortable, within reach of shops/ restaurants , parking nearby etc What stands out always , is if the owner is lovely and takes great pride in keeping their place just so. Also to provide, bread/ milk/tea/ coffee on arrival truly elevates the person and the place. I found the en-suite bed , large , softer than I normally have but had amazing nights sleep with no aches and pains Kitchen is well equipped. Kate is really the most helpful and available host The people in Aberystwyth are so friendly Altogether a great long weekend .

Such a lovely stay at Lakeside Lodge, the surroundings were beautiful and our host Andrew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Stunning lake one side of the lodge and stunning views of the hilly countryside the other (both visible from the view in the hot tub) really could not have asked for anything more for a chilled girls trip. Could have stayed there forever!

This clever barn conversion is quite thoughtfully designed and very comfortable inside and out. The professional level of decoration found a wonderful balance of beauty and homeyness; everything was lovely in the most welcoming way. There was lots of space for our family to spread out, and the beds and linens were excellent. As lovely as the house is, the best part by far is the view. It was absolutely stunning, rain or shine! We found ourselves drawn outside at all hours of the day to enjoy the sights and sounds around us. Just as described, there were places in the house where the wifi was spotty, and the track up through the neighboring farm to the house might be a challenge for some cars. As we had read about the property, we were not surprised and spent an absolutely wonderful week there! There were plenty of restaurants and grocery stores 10-15 minutes away in Abergavenny when we could tear ourselves away from this slice of paradise.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

I visited with a family of 9. It was a lovely place, we all felt right at home. Everything was well described in the listing and even better in real than the photos. I highly recommend Simon’s place If you wish to explore Cardiff and surrounding areas. It is a convenient location to station yourself in the city. My husband and I stayed for a few nights with our dogs. The house is spacious and very comfortable, the garden is sunny and private to sit out in, and very secure for our greyhounds. This is excellent value for money and I look forward to coming back, hopefully with more family.

The Cow Shed is in the most beautiful location off the beaten track, yet only 10 mins from the main road. Lovely views onto the hills and common land and all you can hear are the birds and the sheep. Perfect location for exploring the Malvern Hills with plenty to do on the doorstep and several good places to eat. Equally you can walk from the door too. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for 4/5 days. It is in the grounds of Nigel's house but we were private and had our own space; we especially enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine having a coffee. Highly recommend...
