Cozy guesthouse in Mariannelund

Stay in our cozy guesthouse with private garden. Close to, among other things, Astrid Lindgren's world (20 km), Katthult and Bullerbyn. In Mariannelund there is also Filmbyn Småland, Karamellkokeriet, Ica, nice natural areas with lakes etc. The house consists of a large combined kitchen and living room, two bedrooms (a total of 7 beds + a sofa bed for 2 people in the living room), a toilet/shower and laundry room. Note: You clean before check-out (unless otherwise agreed) and bring towels and sheets yourself

Grankvistgården (Farmhouse)

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the middle of central Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but individually and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgrens World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a small child as there is a crib. Alternatively 4 adults. Sleeps and towels are not included. The tenant cleans before check-out.

Meet our lovely red cottage in Småland surrounded by forest, hills and lakes. With all the comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood stove. The house has a big private garden where you can relax and make a campfire at the fire pit. Go fishing or take a swim in one of the lakes nearby. With a bit of luck you see deer and foxes from our sunny porch. Go skiing at the ski-slope, visit a moose park or go down the zippline. From April to October we rent out 2 kayaks.

You also have access to a dining area in the garden. ICA store, playground and Mariannelund's candy factory are within walking distance as well as several swimming lakes. Please Note: You clean before check-out and bring your own towels and sheets. No pets allowed.

Welcome to our charming cottage, renovated in 2019, with high standard of natural beauty rural location. It is close to Bullerbyn, Katthult and other places that occur in Astrid Lindgren's books. The home is 90 sqm and sleeps 6+2 guests. Enjoy fast internet via fiber with Wi-Fi. Explore Astrid Lindgren's World, just 10 miles away, and make memories for kids and adults alike. During your stay you can charge your car in place for a fee.

Stay in the countryside in Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby

Stay in the countryside in Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby. The farm Skuru is located near Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25 min drive to Astrid Lindgrens Värld Perfect for guests who want a quiet and pleasant holiday in the countryside. In 2020, we have renovated a kitchen, groventré and laundry and also built a brand new bathroom downstairs. Here is close to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

The Drängstugan in Mariannelund

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the farmhouse Emil's friend Alfred lived in, but much more modern inside 😁 It is a large leafy plot that is shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forest. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.

Villa Victoria in the heart of Småland, home to Michel and Pipi Longstocking. This beautiful Swedish house from 1909 is the ancient pastor's house of Mariannelund and offers every conceivable comfort despite its age. This house hugs you and welcomes you as soon as you enter. On foot 400 m to the swimming spot. 2 km to the film studios. 9 km to the Katthult-Hof and only 12 km to Astrid-Lindgrens-World.
