Beautiful front porch and lovely sitting area in the rear of the Cottage. We are climate controlled with a mini split HVAC to keep you toasty warm in spring, fall, and winter and comfortably cool in the summer. Internet access and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Overnight guests at the WILDERNESS Tiny Cabin are very special people. The only way to reach the secluded cabin is by taking the mountain hiking trail and back or request to be driven to the cabin via 4-wheeler($10 additional cost for drive in and drive out) . The trail is 800ft consistent of the opulent and incredibly diverse flora and fauna,providing a rewarding adventure. The WILDERNESS cabin is setting in the forest among the trees overlooking the Smoky Mountain range in high altitude.

Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!

It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin is a BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ safe space, partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel.
