Koen's accommodation is very clean, spacious and modern. The shower is worthy of a 4-star hotel and the kitchen is super modern with sparkling, ice or boiling water to choose from at the tap! There is only one bed (very large and very comfortable), the sofa is not convertible, but Koen added a mattress at our request and it was perfect. The apartment is located a 10-minute walk from the cathedral and the center, and a 15-minute walk from the port. There is a metro station 10 minutes away to go to the central station. Koen is a friendly and very considerate host. He responded to our messages quickly. We had a great stay at Koen's and we recommend this host 100%.

Saartje and her husband are fantastic hosts who made me feel at home throughout my stay. They’re a warm and attentive couple who go above and beyond for their guests. The house is entirely independent, very clean, spacious, and equipped with everything needed. The kitchen has all essentials, the bright living room offers stunning views of nature, and waking up to see the beautiful white mare in the adjacent field is a true delight. The bed is spacious and comfortable, and the peace and quiet are unmatched. This tranquil location in Waanrode makes it easy to visit cities like Diest, Sint Truiden, Tienen, Leuven, and even Brussels, just 50 km away. I stayed here for a peaceful work retreat, and it exceeded my expectations. The combination of serenity and excellent connectivity makes it perfect for any kind of trip. I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful week I spent and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful oasis!
