Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Florence

Our stay at the cabin in the woods was so peaceful and relaxing. Everything we needed was there. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. The fire pit was perfect. We spend all our evenings sitting beside it enjoying the quiet. A little deer visiting morning and evening was a bonus. We would recommend the cabin. Chloe and Jason were extremely helpful hosts.

Great location in the Nye Beach Neighborhood. Plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops to walk to. This is our second time staying here and enjoy the location. The spacious kitchen also allows for family dinners and we like to take advantage of the outside grill.

Melinda was an excellent host. She was helpful and attentive. The view day or night was outstanding! The home was immaculately clean. There was plenty of room for our large family. The video games were a hit with most as well as the other games provided.

This was a nice place to stay for visiting the beach. Right across the road from Seal Rock State Park. It was clean, well stocked and had comfortable beds.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to Newport, check this place out! We were in town from Bend while working on a remodel of a local restaurant, and this place had everything we needed during our stay. The view of Yaquina Bay from the condo is awesome, and the guys even had a hot tub to relax in after work!! All-in-all, I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Lauri and Daniel.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Andrew and Brie were incredibly responsive, ensuring our stay was both seamless and enjoyable. Every detail was clearly communicated—from the well-laid-out directions to the thoughtfully compiled instruction book for the home’s amenities. The house itself is spacious, beautifully appointed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need (and then some!). However, the true gem of this property is its outdoor space. The river access provided the perfect spot to cool off and unwind with friends, and when we weren’t by the water, we were gathered around the gas fire table under the gazebo, soaking in the serene atmosphere. If everything lines up, I would love to return!

Nice little home on lake with Dune access. We were there for Raptor Rally made everything so easy a d convienant. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need! Just bring the food.

This place was great. A note to mention- bring your own coffee. K cups or ground coffee. Everywhere else I’ve been (which has been at least 20-25 Airbnb’s or VRBO over the years) provided when a coffee maker was present, this one didn’t. Totally OK with that, but something to note so you don’t have to make an early morning grocery run :-) I’d suggest brining a towel for the hot tub as well. This place was quiet and clean and very relaxing. The view was nice and the outdoor area is fantastic!!!

Nice, fully functional apartment unit. It's large in space . Bed is comfy. Would stay again. A lot of light that shines thru the windows in the front and back, and that is welcoming and makes for a great homey feeling. There are good blinds on all windows to block out the light for sleep. There is a breakfast nook area near the kitchen with a couple of chairs that look out the windows for a cute view of the town. It's an old building, which means there are creaks and you can hear other units. Personally for me, it's not loud enough to be an issue at all. I just mention this because if you are the kind of person who needs 100% quietness, you might have issues. Bring ear plugs. Google Maps provides good directions right to the front of the house. What would have been much appreciated in the check in instructions were more details on finding the parking in the rear of the house, and the accompanying directions on how to find the back door of the unit.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Seas. First of all, I LOVE sunflowers so I was super excited to find them all over the place! Everything was clean and although the space was small we had everything we needed. Great bath and shower, comfy bed, lovely outdoor area. Walking distance to the beach, too! Also, Norma was super responsive and friendly. My mom and I woke up to a minor ceiling leak in the kitchen on our first morning and it was fixed within a matter of a few hours! I would definitely stay here again and I recommend this spot to anyone traveling to the area.

This is my second time staying at Lona's...the property has everything a person needs to enjoy the beautiful Oregon Coast...very comfortable...I always enjoy a campfire in the back of the house and 5 minute walk to the beach where a number of seals pop their heads above the water...will always stay at Lona's (if available) when I visit the coast with family..

Really enjoyed our midweek holiday! The home is just as described and quite spacious, we especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. Jana was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had in advance of and during our stay.

I absolutely give this place 5 stars for the amazing beach location! My family loved being right on the beach. I booked this spot knowing some reviews mentioned it was small, but we were pleasantly surprised—it’s small, but not as tiny as some made it sound. As a family of four with two young kids, ages 5 and 3, it was a great size for us. I can see how it might feel cramped with older or more kids, though. We stayed for 6 nights and found it had everything we needed. I’m glad I brought a bin for our food, as there wasn’t much pantry space, so we kept most items in that. The extra towels were helpful, especially since things took longer to dry on the coast. The kitchen supplies were limited to just a bit of salt and pepper and coffee. I wished I had brought kids’ plates and utensils because we went through dishes quickly. Despite those minor issues, we would definitely return. The beach right from the house was one of the best, and the tide pools at Strawberry Hill nearby were amazing!

We had a great stay here, the cabin had that homestead feel we were looking for and the location was great. It was very peaceful and was surrounded by forest and adjacent to the lake. It was nice having town and the coast a short drive away as well.

Our stay at the River Cabin was full of relaxation, lasting memories, comfort, and an eagerness to come back!! Host and co host were very thoughtful and we would love to stay at the cabin again 😊

We have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals and this is definitely in our top few. All the amenities are as described and the place was super clean. It’s very evident that the host poured their passion and resources in so many thoughtful details. We had a couple of sunny days on the lake but the last day the weather turned and got quite wet. Spending a rainy day indoors with a late breakfast while watching the lake and reading a book might have been my favorite.

We loved the stay. Great location for all activities that we wanted. Excellent host that was accommodating for our needs. Would recommend to friends, and family.

Awesome place to stay for the weekend and true to listings description. Had an unexpected but uncontrollable power outage (maintenance in the area) but the house was well equipped for the situation.

Dee & Tom’s family cabin was the Most wonderful place to stay. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is the place for you. You feel right at home, beautiful area, a lot of history of the falls and their family cabin is shared throughout the cabin. We have been kicking ourselves in the pants for not planning a longer visit.

Andrew's place is extremely well thought-out. We had everything we could possibly need. His attention to detail in making the home cozy and convenient was much appreciated. The surroundings are beautiful. He's done an incredible job with the property. We loved taking the short hike up the hill and admiring his gravity-fed spring water. The front porch has a pristine table we loved eating at and enjoying the fresh breeze. The cabin is so clean and well-decorated. The kitchen is small but functional, including the fun 1920s oven. The only thing I could possibly think to complain about is the logging trucks roaring down the road in the mornings - we kept the windows open and they would wake me up. But that's not something that can be helped and was really not a big deal. We had a lovely stay and can definitely recommend!
