Holiday rentals with breakfast in Folkestone

We had such a lovely weekend at Kelly’s beach house - our first weekend away as a four made all the more special thanks to the glorious space we had! Loads of room for the kids to race about, beautifully finished everywhere you looked, round the corner from the beach, and the joys of Whitstable on your doorstep. We had so much fun, and we’ll definitely be heading back.

We cannot praise Karen and Dave’s studio highly enough. Their home is surrounded by fields of pear trees and a beautiful garden. The decor is tasteful, comfortable and every detail has been thought about. Most importantly, it was spotlessly clean. We were greeted on arrival by Karen, our host, who showed us around our studio and gifted us fresh milk and home-baked cookies. In the morning, Karen had left us more fresh milk for our coffee and we were welcome to sit in their delightful garden. And then the crowning glory, breakfast is included! We were shown into the breakfast room which overlooks the pear fields and a Norman church - stunning. And what a breakfast … sourdough break and cinnamon buns baked by Karen and a delicious breakfast cooked by hubby Dave. Better than you’d get in a five star hotel .. oh and there was granola, fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt and local apple juice. Thank you both for a really lovely stay.

The top floor bedroom in this property is just the most wonderful space it has ever been my pleasure to wake up in!! The house is so light and sunny with a glorious view of all the greeenery that is the beginning of the dunes. The property was very well equipped and the beds and bedding were so comfy, so much so that the friend I went with has ordered one of the beds as she said she hadn’t slept so well in years! Camber Sands and the dunes are absolutely stunning, such an amazing facility right on the doorstep. All in all, a really great stay and I will definitely be back - thanks Fran .

Absolutely loved our stay here – it was perfect in every way. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt so private and peaceful, with the bonus of parking right outside the door. One of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in, and the shower was brilliant too – hot, powerful, and refreshing. Nikki was such a friendly and thoughtful host – we felt so welcomed. The generous touches like fresh bread, cookies, milk, and sweets made us smile and really added to the experience. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more – a truly lovely place to stay and unwind. Thank you, Nikki!

The house is lovely and has been imaginatively and attractively modernised to create a stylish and comfortable home. Access to a sauna and outside bath is an amazing addition, and the summer house at the bottom of the garden is a considerable bonus. The street and its surroundings are unexceptional but the beach is just a fifteen minutes walk away. We managed to park outside the house whenever we wanted to, but there are a lot of cars in the street and considerable manoeuvring is required to get in and out. I would certainly return.

Wonderful cottage, great location near the nature reserve. Really comfy beds and wonderful hosts who looked after us with welcome milk/bread and all the baby cot and highchair set up for our arrival. We’ll come back for sure!

Wendy’s home was the perfect location for our time in Tunbridge Wells. The parking was super easy, and the house itself had everything we needed, including for our 18 month old. Wendy was the ideal host, and she went above and beyond in her communications and also in the special treats waiting for us when we arrived. I definitely recommend Wendy’s home!

Great stay and perfect location for visiting Margate. Towels and bedding were clean and fresh and the apartment was very clean and tidy. As per previous guest reviews, there’s an issue with the water temperature when using the shower but we found a workaround that balanced the temperature out (Hint - use the shower attachment connected to the bath taps and put that in the shower holder, it just about fits. You can control the temperature much better). I had to give Arnold a low mark for communication because I literally never heard from him the entire time leading up to the booking and right through to checkout. Although clear and concise, the only information we had was what was on the booking app. This was enough for us to check in and enjoy our stay but an acknowledgment of messages would have been nice (I hope the lack of response didn’t indicate that he was ill). A lovely, short break in a good location.

It is a very neat place. Owners provide privacy. Easy Check-in with Code. Basically eveything you need, even Washing machine. Very lovely to find food for breakfast. Comfy bed and nice shower. Relaxing stay after long hike. Can recommend definitly!

Great location for old town and Turner Contemporary. Really nice second floor flat with views of beach. Clean and well appointed. Good bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. Kind of Sally to provide some essential vittles. Parking available close by at the Turner, 2 minutes walk away across the road. Excellent stay.

We absolutely loved our week at Benny’s place :-)! Amazing views, super peaceful and surrounded by wonderful old oak trees! Also a super comfy and large bed (super king)! Benny and her husband were really friendly, helpful and welcoming, we’d definitely recommend staying here :-)

We cannot say enough about Davey and his charming home! Davey welcomed us and was so accommodating to our needs as we arrived early in town. He was friendly and welcoming and his home was absolutely lovely, and was so nice to come back to after a busy day in London. We fell in love with Greenwich and loved what an easy walk it was into town from Davey’s home. We unfortunately left our prescription glasses and Davey was so kind, he mailed them back to our home in the states, with a little help from Sydney, his adorable pup. We can’t thank him enough and hope to come back to visit again.

Enjoyed our second visit with Antony and Gonzalo. Had stayed 6 weeks in 2019 and became friends with them then. Made it a point to spend 3 nights with them on this trip and it felt like old home week. Antony is very knowledgeable about architecture and grand British homes so he can offer advice on where you may be able to see historic buildings and interesting houses. We hope to visit with them again on any future trip to England.

A beautifully furnished apartment, in a great location and within walking distance of everything we needed. We had a great weekend there.

Suite magnifique et très romantique ! parfait pour un excellent moment détente et paisible en couple 😌 la déco, bouteille de champagne et plateau apéro sont en supplément mais très abordable et cela rend la soirée encore plus unique et merveilleuse !

Staying with Niki was like visiting a long time friend. From the moment we arrived we instantly felt at home. She shared stories and recommendations and then left us to it. She cooked us amazing breakfasts, and was a pleasure to come back to after our days out. The place was really tidy and decorated beautifully, the bed was super comfy, and she made it extra special as she knew it was for our birthdays. We would absolutely recommend staying with Niki (and cheeky little Benji)!!

Jonathan was a great host. I booked a last minute stay, he made sure the place was pristine and ready within an hour. I ended up extending my stay, which was quick and easy to arrange with no fuss. The home is cosy and quirky. Breakfast was amazing! And made me feel right at home. I stayed there with my 5 month old daughter. There was plenty of space either side of the bed for a travel crib which was great. The electric car charger was another great perk. Highly recommend!

A lovely little place with beautiful surroundings! Everything was great, and there was plenty of clear communication. Perfect for what we needed!

Absolutely perfect ! Vivian was so great at getting in touch, very responsive to messages and very helpful with directions and information. She kindly offered us a slightly earlier check in for a quick outfit change for a wedding we added at Westenhanger castle, Vivian even said she would take us her in her car to the venue which we were so grateful for. She went above and beyond for us. Very much appreciated. The room was clean, it was pleasant enough for my sister and I to stay. We were greeted with a smile and lovely manor, we felt right at home. We would definitely book with Vivian again for any other wedding we have that way. Food in the morning was beautiful, scrambled egg on toast, we had fruit and pasties, also fresh orange and a range of coffee and tea all in our room. Amazing!!!. Clean, friendly, peaceful, and happy to have stayed! Many thanks to Vivian. X

Lovely place and an amazing location in the centre of Margate!

The property was lovely and very cool, which was nice as it was 30c on the day we came! Diane was a great host and made everything super simple for us when checking in with really helpful directions would definitely stay again!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Jacqui’s house. The bedrooms are clean and perfect for a family a four with 2 children. Breakfast was perfect with everything you need. Our host Jacqui is a lovely person who gave us good advice and recommended a nice pub nearby. Thank you Jacqui!

Caroline hat uns herzlich empfangen. In ihrem hübschen Haus haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut geschlafen. Alles ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und besonders sauber. Das Frühstück mit ihrem selbst gebackenen Brot war sehr lecker. Wir haben von ihr auch gute Tipps für die Gegend erhalten. Caroline liegt das Wohl ihrer Gäste sehr am Herzen. Wie sind nur eine Nacht geblieben auf dem Weg nach Cornwall aber haben es sehr genossen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft gerne weiter.
