Fully equipped kitchen, walk in shower, UK king sized bed, wifi, 40inch smart TV. Access is at street level. 2-minute walk to the bus and railway station, situated off the market square by the castle. No private parking, 20m past property on left to park to unload as street is narrow. Car parks are very close to the property. Not suitable to host infants, children or pets.

Cottage in Spofforth

The Barn is absolutely lovely. It's very clean & modern with everything you could wish for to make your stay very comfortable. Helen and Carl are super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Being in Spofforth, The Barn is ideally situated for exploring the area and beyond. Wetherby is just a few miles away and the A1m is just a few miles beyond there, so its easy to get to. There are so many market towns within a short to medium drive away. Knaresborough, Ilkley, Skipton, Ripon to name but a few. Harrogate is also close by and beautiful York is no more than 45-50 minutes away. We loved it so much we are threatening to go back some time.

Amanda is a superb host, friendly and welcoming and really helpful. The accommodation is spacious with comfortable beds, fabulous bathrooms, everywhere spotless and peaceful private garden with terrace and gateway to beautiful walks through a pretty wood. A well equipped kitchen with lots of extras meant a stay that was effortless and enjoyable. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Apartment 5 in Starbeck House was perfect for me. It was a 5 minute walk to the home of my friends that I was visiting in Starbeck so it was very convenient. Being steps away from the train and bus made it so easy to get around and do day trips to Harrogate, Knaresborough and York. I loved the “music” theme of Apt. 5 - right up my alley. And speaking of music, The Office pub just down the street was amazing - having open mic on Wednesdays and live music on Saturdays was a bonus for sure. I didn’t actually meet Mark during my stay, but he was always quick to respond to any inquiries I had via text. Overall a very nice stay and I will definitely stay again when I visit my Starbeck friends again.

I booked this last minute and arrived an hour later. Barbara was out at the time and went out of her way to came back as soon as I got there. Barbara and her husband were so so lovely, really chatty and made me feel really welcome. The place was even more beautiful in person and just as described. It was worth the stay just to see the animals walking around and the beautiful views. The outside bath was amazing aswell, would highly recommend at sunset (Barbara advised me what time would be best too). Can’t wait to stay again x

Just back from a great weekend at Castle Cottage. Georgina has put a lot of thought into the decor, it was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. Walking distance from the pub and local bistro with Harrogate a short drive away. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at James’s place, the location was perfect for exploring Harrogate and the surrounding area, bike storage was a real bonus too. Easy bus into Harrogate, good cycle routes from the door. Great accommodation, everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.
