Gîte La Suite N°1 – Maison Achard & Fils

The story of Maison Achard & Fils is first and foremost a family story, in Chamaret, in the Drôme Provençale. In the middle of 1 ha of oaks, the owner built this dry stone property entirely, after drawing up his plans. It's a lifetime project, a project that started 20 years ago. In 2023, we are writing a new chapter in the history of our farmhouse, with the opening of a 45 m2 annex, Suite No. 1, intended to accommodate a couple while ensuring excellence and tranquility, surrounded by nature.

The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but always on hand to help.

Beautiful loft apartment located in the charming village of Noisy-sur-école 67 km southeast of Paris. The apartment is a 10-minute walk from the ‘Trois Pignons’ forest, a well-known destination for climbing (bouldering). Two crash pads are offered in the rental. A 10-minute drive takes you to the town of Milly-la-Forêt, which has exceptional bakeries, cheese / wine shops, and a famous market. A 20-minute drive takes you to other historical villages and castles, including Fontainebleau.

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing: everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium: Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min. The house is in the heart of nature: in the middle of a meadow, close to tall trees and a water point. A peaceful, relaxing place. An ideal base for hikes or to more touristic sites. Welcome to the vaulted suite, a space with singular charm with a separate entrance (low and atypical door) and a private terrace, located in a building dating from 1800. Here, no Wi-Fi, but very good 4G coverage: an ideal setting to disconnect and enjoy the calm.
