It took us two years to find this quiet building with an elevator, and then another year of good faith negotiations with the landlord to convince him to buy this building, which is really a Japanese building, and you can directly experience 100% of the daily life of the Japanese people! We thoughtfully decorated more than a dozen rooms in this building into different unique styles. The themes of each room were handmade and painted by us. On average, we can open a new room for an average of more than a month. We're also thrilled that Airbnb's three accounts have received more than 300 five-star Superhost reviews, and because we choose our bedding with great care, many of our customers say our beds are great to sleep in! We also care about cleaning, and we know that cleaning and cleaning outsourcing is the cheapest, but we don't feel the care and temperature, so our room is completely cleaned with our utmost care. Most of the good airbnb accommodation in a good location in Kyoto does not have an elevator, especially the old Machiya. Sometimes we travel with our parents and children. We opened this guest house in October, 2017. It is the middle of downtown in Kyoto. It is 5 minutes walk from Kawaramachi station(Hankyu line). From Shijo station, it is 10 minutes walk. From Shijo station to Kyoto station is 4 minutes by subway. Our guest house is next to Shin-kyogoku dori, there are many restaurants, souvenir shops, convenient stores, fashion items, 100yen stores.... It is easy to access to Nishiki-ichiba(we called the kitchen of Kyoto, market), Teramachi dori, Gion on foot.

The city bus stop called Kujo Omiya is also a very short walk away. The Railway Museum and Kyoto Aquarium are also nearby. They opened in April 2016 at Umekouji Park, which is only about a 7-minute walk. From the balcony, you can enjoy the view of the World Heritage Site, Toji Temple’s Five-Story Pagoda (“Goju no to”).
