Experience beautiful nature at a cozy mountain farm cabin! The cabin is located on the edge of the forest with a view of the entire Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities both in summer and winter right outside the door. About 1 km on skis through the forest to the Skeikampen trail network. The cabin has 5 beds, plus a pull-out bed, an equipped kitchen, a heat pump, a wood-burning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bed linen and towels included. You must have a 4x4 in winter. 15 minutes to the city center and Skeikampen, 30 minutes to Lillehammer and 45 minutes to Hunderfossen.

Gålå is an old tourist destination in rapid development. Snow-proof, 630 km of ski slopes and alpine slopes. Gålå Handel which has "everything", and Gålå Hotel is in the immediate vicinity and Røsslyngstua Café is open and with delicious food on the menu. In summer there are also countless hiking opportunities, Høyt og Lavt climbing park, frisbee golf and open mountain pastures at Solbråsetra where the local woman Anne Hov invented Gudbrandsdal cheese in 1863. There is more culture: Peer Gynt Festival in July/August, Rondaståk in June and a short distance to the Country Festival in Vinstra

Large, modern cabin in a great mountain area on Gålå

Bring the whole family to this unique cabin with great nature experiences in summer and winter! The cabin is located at about 900 meters above sea level with a large natural plot and with a lovely view over Gålåvannet. The plot is 1500 sqm and borders hiking terrain and hiking trail, well suited for the whole family. In winter, there are groomed ski slopes nearby and you can strap on your skis outside the cabin. Easy access by car. The cabin is well equipped and contains a living room/kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, sauna, loft/TV room, sports shed and interior shed.

This is a small farm on Sødorpfjellet, about 4-5 km east from Vinstra city center. No toll road. Running water, shower, toilet and electricity and charger for electric car. 3 bedrooms, 1 family bunk bed and 2 good double beds, cozy fireplace in the living room. There is a heat pump/AC, wifi TV channels. Cozy cabin, centrally located in relation to the mountain. Near Jotunheimen and Rondane. New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Short walking distance to Gålå sports complex, shop with good selection, Gålå hotel and Røsslyngstua café. Alpine slope, Peer Gynt game, Gålåvannet, frisbee golf and climbing park 5 minutes away by car.

Hytta ligger på Viken Fjellgård, en time fra Lillehammer, rett ved idylliske Espedalsvatnet, 720 m.o.h, og Langsua Nasjonalpark. Her kan man få stillhet og ro, bade, padle, besøke gruver, eller gå turer. Det er kort til høyfjell med mange turmuligheter, eller å gå ut fra gården langs vannet, på stier i skog og mark. Det er koselig uteplass med bålpanne på brygga ved naustet, og det er badestrand på andre siden. Våre gjester kan benytte våre to båter og kano fritt,og vi låner ut to fiskestenger.

Note: Due to big variations in the electricity prices we need to calculate the electricity for each stay. The electricity allowance of 100 NOK per day are included in your price. Excessive or wasteful usage will be billed at cost after your stay
