Close to the cabin there are a total of about 630 km of well-prepared cross-country ski trails offered by Gålå. You can put on your skis right at the cabin door, whether it is alpine or cross-country. If you want to see the Peer Gynt theater, it is easy to walk the 2.5 km down to the stage on a nice gravel road. The cabin has 2 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds, kitchen/living room solution and bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Underfloor heating in all rooms. SmartTV and Wi-Fi access.

Gålå is an old tourist destination in rapid development. Snow-proof, 630 km of ski slopes and alpine slopes. Gålå Handel which has "everything", and Gålå Hotel is in the immediate vicinity and Røsslyngstua Café is open and with delicious food on the menu. In summer there are also countless hiking opportunities, Høyt og Lavt climbing park, frisbee golf and open mountain pastures at Solbråsetra where the local woman Anne Hov invented Gudbrandsdal cheese in 1863. The place is especially known for a long ski season with good ski slopes, the Peer-gynt game, and many opportunities for biking in the summer.

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cabin is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and mountain hotel just nearby.

Bei uns findest du neben Sauna, Hot tub und freistehender Badewanne alles, was dein Herz begehrt! Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Shampoo und Duschgel sind ebenfalls inklusive. Nur das verbrauchte Holz sollte am Ende des Urlaubs wieder aufgefüllt werden.

For rent is a new "cosy" cabin in Gålå. Relax at 860 meters above sea level with a beautiful view of Lake Gålå and the surrounding mountains. Directly accessible from the cabin is one of the largest networks of cross country tracks in Norway. The local alpine slopes are great for families. For those after more challenges, Kvitfjell and its world cup slopes is only a 40 minute drive away.
