Apartment holiday rentals in Galluzzo Certosa

Our stay was beautiful! The view from the balcony (and bedroom window and shower window) is absolutely breathtaking. Sitting on the balcony and taking it in was some of our favorite parts of the stay. Everything was clean and decorated so nicely, plus their espresso machine and little cookies were great to wake up with. Location is a bit far walking distance from the center of the city, and it is uphill on the way back, but we personally loved it because it kept us on our feet during our travels and the peaceful neighborhood is worth the walk because it is so quiet and private at night. It’s right across the street from Galileo’s original home! Highly recommend this apartment :)

Gioia was very helpful. Walking us through how to use the bus system! Answer our questions very quickly! Great host!!

Sabina nous a très bien accueillis : elle avait même prévu des parapluies pour nous en raison de fortes pluies à Florence à notre arrivée. Elle nous a ensuite envoyé des recommandations de restaurants à faire dans le coin, ce qui nous a été très utile. Le logement était parfait, très cosy, propre et proposant tous les équipements dont nous avions besoin. Je recommande avec plaisir cet hôte et son logement : bravo à elle !

Wir suchten eine Wohnung mit einer guten Standartausstattung, einem Stellplatz für das Auto, Einkaufs- bzw. Essenmöglichkeit am Ort sowie einer guten Busverbindung nach Florenz bzw. einen guter Ausgangspunkt für die Chianti-Region. All das haben wir in der Wohnung von Cosimo gefunden und haben uns wohlgefühlt.

We had the most amazing stay at Sibilla's apartment! It is STUNNINGLY decorated and almost makes it feel like you are staying in the Medici Chapel itself. The apartment had everything we needed, and the plant room/ sunroom was glorious to enjoy in the mornings/returning after a day's exploring. We met both Niccolo and Sibilia and both were so friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the apartment is perfect, with central Florence being a 20 minute walk away, and the restaurants/shops/wine bars of Santo Spirito being literally on your doorstep. This is the most enjoyable Air BnB we have ever stayed in, and would come back in a heartbeat! Grazie mille!!

Tastefully decorated space kept in pristine condition. The shower is excellent and there is a cute balcony with a fantastic view of the area. Nora is exceptional as a host. Historic Florence is a quick 15 mins bus ride away and the bus stop is right by the apartment. Parking within the compound feels very safe.

I stayed for approximately 6 days and really enjoyed my stay. The area was very calm and quiet. It is quite a bit away from the city centre but with public transport you will get there easily in around 30 minutes or so. The apartment is really tidy and clean. I can fully recommend.

We had a lovely short stay in May. We arrived quite late in the evening but we had clear instructions on how to self check in, Mario was very responsive so had no issues. The flat itself was cute and cosy and had everything we needed. Even had some lovely small breakfast/snacks in the kitchen such as jam and Nutella spread, milk, juice cartons which I was not expecting. Great parking - plenty of space. We would have loved to use the pool - looked nice and clean but we had too many activities booked and it wasn't that warm so didn't get a chance to use it! The property was not far at all from the city centre of Florence - about 5 minutes away there is a bus stop opposite Co-op and we got on the number 37 everyday which took about 20 minutes or so to get into the city. Easy peasy, just tap on with your card and they run every 15 minutes or so. Would reccommend ! Thanks again Mario :)

easy check in, was even able to leave luggage on earlier, place was perfectly clean and spacious, with a nice welcome package, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher, etc, would definitely recommend!

Unbeatable view! Liana checked in on us multiple times to make sure we didn’t need anything throughout the week. The instruction book was very clear with helpful instructions and great nearby recommendations. Highly recommend!

Please do yourself the favor and book this space immediately. To call the home a palace would be an understatement. As a constant traveler, this is easily the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed at. Perfect view of the Uffizi gallery and river Arno. A 2 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio and many surrounding markets and Osteria’s. Frederico is an amazing host and now a good friend of ours. He accommodated us and was super patient when we were checking out. The home is extremely well curated with beautiful works of arts and sculptures. The living room area is a great big space with giant windows that can be opened and marble bath tub and shower. I will be dreaming of returning to see our friend Frederico in Florence very soon. He has a kind soul and was very warm with us. Side note: our favorite restaurant was the Osteria Toscanella. Only a 5 minute walk from the space. Please tell Tony from the Osteria that Richard and Geraldine from Texas say “Hola”!!! Everyone made us feel at home.

Wir haben als fünfköpfige Familien 2 Nächte in der Wohnung verbracht. Giovanni hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und super sauber. Alles was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt war vorhanden und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Zum Abendessen waren wir in der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft. Auch hier kann ich nur positives berichten. Wir können die Wohnung von Giovanni nur empfehlen.

Perfect location. Perfect for two couples mini kitchen is perfect size to make breakfast if you’d like before heading out. Espresso machine included, which was perfect. Florence is such a beautiful city with such great restaurants and shops and highly walkable. I don’t know why anybody would want to cook a meal in their Airbnb. My daughter has been studying in Florence for the last four years. I visit every three or four months. On this trip It was myself and my friend and his wife, I was their tour guide. It was the perfect size for us. It’s on the first floor and very quiet so no stairs to deal with which is a bonus. The access was very easy. So if you are single, or a couple or two couples, this is a perfect place. I recommend it. Very clean as well.

Sabrina est une hôte extraordinaire ainsi que ses proches , et dans une situation très compliquée pour nous puisque nous nous sommes fait dérober tous nos affaires personnelles dans Florence , elle a été extrêmement réactive et elle nous a facilité grandement les choses devant cet événement , ainsi que ses proches, et nous avons pu finir notre séjour jusqu’à notre rapatriement en France dans les meilleures conditions En outre , sa demeure est un environnement très agréable bien loin du tumulte de Florence et c’est un véritable havre de paix. Allez y les yeux fermés c’est de loin ma meilleure expérience Airbnb

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was good, in easy walking distance to plenty of great restaurants and bars for aperitif. It is on the other side of the river from the typical tourist destinations like the David and the Uffizi, but because Florence is so easily walkable, it only took about 20 minutes to walk to any of those areas. This side of the river is definitely quieter, but still has plenty to do (including the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens which are not to be missed)! As far as communication, it was absolutely top notch. We had an issue where the handle on the water faucet in the kitchen broke on Sunday, and the host was extremely quick to respond, and had a plumber out to fix the problem in under an hour. We were shocked and impressed, particularly given it was a weekend. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom. The A/C in the living room is very good, but the bedroom could get a bit hot at night. Still we would return!

We really enjoyed our stay in this flat. The house was clear, the neighbourhood was peaceful and the hosts were very helpful. A true gem in the centre of Florence. If you want to live a luxury experience in Florence, I highly recommend this place.

A huge thanks to Rosella for hosting us in her amazing apartment. Very central location within walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and many local attractions. The private terrace with the Palazzo Vecchio overlooking was perfect for breakfast or late evening watching the sun set with a few drinks. The apartment was spotless clean and very much as described. We were met by our very friendly host at the apartment whom welcomed and showed us around the apartment. We stayed as two couples and a perfect place to stay - I would very much recommend Rosella and her apartment.

Massimiliano takes pride in his home and history and goes above and beyond to welcome you. We felt right at home, beds were comfortable and large bathrooms were a plus. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook but it appeared well stocked. The location is very nice, safe, easily reachable by bus and walkable to all major sites. We enjoyed our stay and we enjoyed the authenticity of Massimiliano’s home and beautiful city.

From booking to checking out, things could not have been smoother. Everything was as described and Alessandra was a very responsive and reasonable host. The area was also fantastic- 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and the restaurants and bars in the small Piazza five minutes’ walk away were excellent. Hope to return soon!

Martina's place was a great rental in central Florence. Close enough to walk to major landmarks and the central train station. The place has everything you need and more. We were met by Martina and her friendly dog on arrival. She is very friendly and hospitable and took her time to show us her home and give us lots of information on the area and suggestions. I would recommend this rental to everyone!

We loved our stay here. Right next to the Duomo and close to everything in Florence making it super easy to get around. Loved the inside of the apartment too and was overall amazing. Silvia was very helpful and great!
