Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gargrave

A beautiful house, thoughtfully kitted out for both fit and disabled guests with a lovely little garden for sitting out on excellent garden furniture serenaded by birdsong. Very comfortable beds; large fridge and freezer; good range of cooking utensils. We very much appreciated the edible goodies left for us. Unfortunately, neither we nor our friends have dogs any more, but the provision of a warm shower outside to clean both dog and boots is amazing. Everything was spick and span, and looked very new. A gem of a place. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Delightful! Perfect spot to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Great for local amenities and links to transport. 5 mins walk to Leeds/Liverpool canal. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Had a great 5 night stay here and would thoroughly recommend. The house was welcoming, warm, comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything provided that you could possibly wish for. The back yard was also super safe for our “runner” of a Norfolk Terrier. Cruzinho has obviously put a lot of thought and effort into this and deserves all the praise he gets. My wife and I are not quick walkers but it was still only 20 mins walk down the canal into the town and the house itself is only 1 min walk from the canal. Skipton itself is great with lots of “quirky” shops, cafes & pubs. Would recommend the Woolly Sheep and Cock & Bottle for food & beer gardens with, of course, Bizzie Lizzie’s for fish & chips. If you fancy a trip out try the Craven Arms in Appletreewick for a great selection of real ales, excellent food and great views.

We had a lovely weekend here,the place was a little cold on arrival due to the weather but soon warmed up . Place was spotless in a good location and the beds were comfy and the kitchen well equiped

Jacqueline's space strikes a great balance between cozy (I think that would be be cosy in the UK) and carefully curated. I am sorry we only got to stay one night, because I think it would be a great place to relax and unwind. She has provided everything one might need to be comfortable and prepared to cook and eat--including some breakfast items, teas and coffees. The furnishings and art are lovely, highly personal and well coordinated. The whole vibe is still just so much about comfort! Jacqueline gave us some ideas around eating dinner out, and we found some other spots on our own, including a small local market for sparkling water, wine, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience in Colne.

Such a wonderful home for our one night. We wished it could have been for longer. Everything you could want, comfy beds, great showers, neat kitchen. Dogs loved it too!

We felt this was absolutely a beautiful find, and Gotta be one of the best places we have stayed yet. The barn conversion is done to a high standard and is so cosy ,warm and welcoming Karen was super friendly and gave some good advice, left us with a lovely cake ,milk and a bottle of Prosecco, such a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend this place, it is pristine and the views are out of this world, I became obsessed with watching the sheep out of the bedroom window 😂

Our family loved our stay at Summers Barn - it’s comfortable and spacious, and the area could not be more beautiful. Humphrey was easy to get in touch with and a great host. We were sad to leave!

Just Wow 🤩! We were absolutely blown away on arrival to the accommodation. It smelt clean and it was ! From the luxurious soft furnishings to the comfortable and elegant decor. The accommodation provides everything you need for a relaxing stay . The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. A real home from home . We are fortunate enough to have a beautiful home and struggle to find a place that matches our lifestyle and expectations. However we are happy to say that we have found one ! The spa is excellent and a nice touch to enhance your stay . Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us , we will be delighted to stay again soon x

We had a wonderful full time at Ribblesdale Park. Really good location with beautiful surroundings and wildlife. The lodge was clean, tidy and cosy and couldn’t have asked for a better host! Will certainly be visiting again in the future.

What an amazing place to spend a lovely few days to celebrate a special birthday! Charlotte is a fabulous host and was more than happy to answer any questions we had.  We were provided with clear directions to guide us right to the lodge, and there was lots of very helpful information about the lodge, the surrounding area and attractions. On our arrival the lodge was immaculately presented and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The lodge was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 7 adults and our Border Collie. It felt welcoming and homely, and Charlotte had put a lot of care and attention into preparing the lodge ready for our stay. My family and I were blown away by the  stunning views of the lake, and the hot tub was a bonus. We even had a visit from a family of swans who were keen to show off their beautiful baby cygnet. Thank you for letting us have the pleasure in staying at your fabulous Lodge. We will certainly be back, hopefully soon!

Had a lovely weekend in this beautiful lodge, weather was good and loved how the doors opened right up, perfect for outside living, a few drinks at night and breakfast on the decking in the morning. Loved the extra touches flowers, doggy basket with towels, treats etc.. was very home to home. Will definately like to return in the future.. thank you 😊

We have just returned from a few nights away staying at this little piece of paradise. If you’re after a tranquil, relaxing holiday then this is the place to stay. From the house itself, to the spectacular views , the amazing pool house and the lovely, friendly neighbours, this place ticks all the boxes and more. Highly recommend visiting The Queens Arms for a meal (or just a cheeky drink), the staff are so friendly and just made our time away extra special. Malham is only a 20 min (ish) drive away and is stunning (a must see). The only thing I would advise is to make sure you take plenty of supplies (or do an online shop for delivery as we did) as the local shop is a 20min drive away. Thankyou again David, we will definitely be back.

I had a really amazing stay at Angie’s place. The pool was great for the kids and it was an added treat to be able to use the spa and gym. The surroundings were stunning and people on the park really friendly. Everything in the Airbnb was so thoughtful and in the right place with the right number of coat hooks for all the gear. Would defo return

Lovely stay. Martin was very easy to communicate with. Great to take dogs. Lovely quiet area and very accessible to the lakes.

What an amazing find! Great House Barn is perfectly placed for a peaceful, relaxing stay in the Calder Valley. Megan and Paul were brilliant hosts - the communication upon booking was excellent and they were both there to welcome us as we arrived for our weekend. The accommodation is perfectly sized for two people - a really neat living, dining, kitchen space, large bedroom with french doors and a massive bathroom. The outside space for the Barn (specifically) is fairly small, but you do have shared access to the land adjoining, which includes a couple of picnic benches and a meadow area with two ponds. The views are amazing and there are a number of walks right from the door. Mytholmroyd is a quick drive away (or a 30 min walk - beware, a quite steep descent), and Hebden Bridge a further 10 min drive or 30 min walk along the canal or river. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage and will definitely look to stay again.

Really loved this Tiny Home - it’s cosy, quiet and private. Me and my girlfriend had a lovely time here, perfect for a 1 night little escape. David was helpful with any questions and has a wonderful place there. We’d love to come back again!

We had an amazing stay at Heath's cottage. Its so peaceful and just what we needed to have sometime away from our busy working week. Loved everything about it and will look to stay again. Thanks Heath and all the best for the future.

Heather cottage is a gorgeous little place, exceeds expectations from the pictures! We had a 5 night stay for our 4th wedding anniversary. Amanda had left us a lovely welcome gift which was really sweet. The cottage is nicely decorated with nods to the Brontes' and the log burning fire was stacked ready to light, which we did on night 2! Many places to eat and drink within a 5 minute walk including artisan/gift shops to indulge yourself, which we did! At the the weekend there was the Haworth Haddock steam train event, with fish&chips served on board, a drinks carriage and live music at Keighley Station which we enjoyed! Theres plenty to see or do in the surrounding area of Bronte villiage. We'll definitely be going back to Heather Cottage! Thanks again Amanda.

We had such a lovely stay, the cottage was very comfortable and toastie warm, we were there Feb in chilly weather. Log burner worked a treat, logs, kindling and firefighters all supplied. Pint of milk and a welcome cake on arrival which was delicious. Lovely views out of the bedroom and sitting room windows into the enclosed garden so the dog was able to wander outside without us. Powerful shower with plenty of hot water, comfy beds, plenty of towels. The Craven Arms…. walking distance …..served delicious food, they prefer you book. Great walking from the door for all levels of enthusiasm and fitness! All in all, we loved it! Thank you Lorren! 😊

Such a lovely place, had a nice girly weekend for my hen do with my bridesmaids and maid of honour and the hosts were really sweet. They were happy to co-ordinate with my maid of honour so the whole thing was a really nice surprise and it was overall really private and peaceful with such stunning views. Would highly recommend and think we will definitely be booking again 🤍

The hideaway was perfect for our 30th birthday celebrations. It is cosy and intimate, the perfect size for a little retreat. The hot tub and outdoor seating was perfect and we were so lucky with the weather. Excellent communication. Would highly recommend

Had such a lovely stay at Victorias place, was just perfect for a quiet local weekend away for me and my boyfriend. Very peaceful area with some nice walks. The cottage was lovely and clean. Everything was perfect Victoria even provided some bowls and a towel for my dog. 10/10 will definitely stay again 😊
