Holiday rentals with a patio in Gauley River

Perfect accommodations for our weekend trip. We were able to swing by the cafe for lunch on the way in and were immediately welcomed and the food was great! Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Sinks Grove!

Such a cute place! Had everything we needed and was convenient to the slopes. Loved that it was a ground level. We woke up to beautiful snowy views every morning and we even had deer come right up to our walkway from the woods a few times. We are so grateful it was available for our winter break! Thank you Vicki for having us.

We had one slight issue, but we were able to get it taken care of & Jared was extremely responsive/helpful! Otherwise, this location was awesome especially for those who weren’t skiing, they were able to walk right down to the village. The space was actually bigger than pictures & was plenty big for four of us. We loved the view from the balcony & the sunset! Would definitely recommend & would love to stay again in the future!

Booked this beautifully renovated, quiet, historic apartment space a bit last-minute for a weekend skiing at Snowshoe and it was a great decision. The value was excellent compared to what it costs on top of the mountain and was a 35-40 minute drive to ski. We loved the amenities of the space as well as the small community of Marlinton (which has great cell service). Hope to be back again soon!!

This would be my second time staying at Rachel’s Airbnb in Elkins, WV and it was perfect! We had my daughter’s wedding for this stay and I rented both of her units in the same building to accommodate family. It was the perfect situation for us. The units are cute, colorful, nicely decorated, well equipped, clean, peaceful, convenient location, free parking, WiFi, some streaming services for TV, laundry in unit, spacious and quiet. Rachel is easy to work with and friendly. We will most likely stay again next time we are in West Virginia visiting family. Thank you Rachel! 😊

This was not our first stay at Hillbilly Hideaway and it won’t be the last. We feel right at home and we love feeling like we are staying with friends! It’s always the little details that make a big difference. I appreciated not having to do much to check out. I had my clothes on for church and all that was required for us to check out was to strip the linens and that definitely made it easier! I recommend Hillbilly Hideaway without hesitation!

The cottage on Vaglio is lovingly appointed throughout with a beautifully equipped kitchen and baths. We enjoyed outdoor evenings on the covered porch, even during some passing showers. A delightful retreat for our group of three!

We loved the location. Super close to downtown shopping and restaurants. The house was super cute, comfy beds and the screened in area outside was the best!

We would rent this house again! So clean and well stocked. Appreciated all the extras and notes of instruction. Spent our two evenings on the back porch with the lights and gas fireplace. We were very impressed and found this place had a lot of personality! Highly recommend

The place is beautiful. All the amenities that anyone would want is here. The place is beautiful, Stephan is a wonderful host. Very helpful. The location is amazing, plenty to do in the area.

Our 9 day stay was everything we could have hoped for and more. Jeremy and Brenna were very responsive and friendly while giving us our space. I cannot emphasize enough the privacy this rental provides, plus, all the birding I was able to do on the deck as it was peak spring migration. It was spacious and our 4 year old Corgi, Barney, felt comfortable from day 1. Everything was clean and neat, and I loved the "sheep" theme. The swing down the way has an amazing overlook although we had mostly cloudy evenings so we missed out on a sunset. I think the icing on the cake is renting from local residents. We are so drawn to West Virginia and Appalachian culture (I'm from there), and everything we encountered was true to my roots. Also, there are so many one lane backroads we traveled, which is always an adventure as you never know what treasures await. Lovely people, lovely place, lovely getaway. We'll be back!

The home was lovely, clean, and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay. We were able to sit on the porch and relax in the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and we heated some of our own meals. We were thankful for a nice stay!

I have stayed in COUNTLESS AirBNB houses over the years, in MANY states, and abroad, and I must say, I have NEVER felt more comfortable in a BNB than I did in this house. From the moment I walked up the wide stairway, to the homey kitchen, EVERYTHING about it felt like I was wrapped in a big memory filled blanket. It was the best experience I have ever had in a BNB.

Rimfire is a great spot in Snoeshow Village and this unit was exactly what we were looking for to get in one last ski weekend for the season! The host communicated well, and the place was well represented in the AirBnB listing. Would definitely go back.

Thank you so much for making our stay easy and pleasant. So many times, we've walked into a rental and looked around with disappointment. Not here! This was a spacious, yet cozy condo with great views to wake up to. I even had great cell service with AT&T! Michael was extremely responsive and his detailed directions made checkin a breeze, especially after traveling on motorcycles for hours. Lots of linens and extra blankets. I can't say enough about our experience. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay near New River Gorge NP, ACE and Adventures on the Gorge. Close to the good food and activities in Fayetteville. Very affordable, clean, and cozy.

This was such a nice condo. Kitchen was fully stocked to cook. The bathroom had extra towels and the bed for the pull out had sheets too. The bedroom was nice and home like. The balcony was supper great to eat breakfast and chill out and see the mountains. We got to check in early and the hot tub was super nice and peaceful. The host was so responsive and helpful she would respond in minutes and helped out a lot. Price was good and location is key. I’d stay here again it was a great place.

Great stay, esp for SARA ski races. Elevators broke during our stay, which was a hassle, but not the owners fault, obviously. Would stay again... thank you!
