Welcome to our newly built house – a natural oasis with sauna, fireplace and unbeatable views of the lake and Järvsö ski slopes! Regardless of the season, this is the perfect place for those who love the outdoors and relaxation. Swimming dock with rowing boat straight below the house. Cycling and hiking trails just around the corner. In winter, when the ice is on, you can walk to the ski slope in 10 minutes or take the car in 3. Free electric car charging. The house has 3 bedrooms (6 beds), kitchen, 1 bathroom and is our little paradise! Outdoor furniture & outdoor shower May-Sept.

The accommodation is a separate guest area in the house with its own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. In the bathroom, there is a toilet, shower and washing machine. A large balcony faces the lake, with seating under a pergola, and guests have their own access to the entire balcony. Possibility to borrow a rowboat and life jackets. Towels and sheets are not included, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning is not included in the accommodation.

You will be staying close to cross-country ski trails, to cycling of various kinds and to downhill skiing. If you are more interested in culture, Ljusdal Municipality offers everything from modern street art to the World Heritage Hälsingegårdar and much more. Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects.
