Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gavray-sur-Sienne

Un véritable coin de paradis… Nous avons adoré la grange! L’endroit parfait pour se ressourcer en pleine nature, et profiter des villes alentours et du Mont Saint Michel sans être au milieu de la foule en permanence. Cette petite maison a été rénové avec beaucoup de goût, c’est chaleureux et on s’y sent tellement bien. Elle est encore plus belle que sur les photos, quelle surprise en arrivant dans la chambre… Le jardin est magnifique et très reposant. Et les hôtes sont adorables. Allez y les yeux fermés !

If you are looking to explore Bayeux and surrounds you couldn’t stay in a more wonderful spot. The house had everything you could wish for and more - a true home away from home. We loved sitting outside of an afternoon while the kids played. Katrine is a friendly and responsive host, providing recommendations on local places to eat and shop.

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end. Le logement était tél que la virginie l’a décrit, paisible et une vue magnifique sur la baie et le mont st Michel. De petites attentions nous attendaient dans le logement. La communication avec virginie était extrêmement conviviale.

Génial j'ai passé une superbe soirée . Dans un cadre calme et apesant j'ai pu me reposé Lors de mon déplacement professionnel je recommande très fortement. Je tiens encore une fois à vous remercier.

We waren meteen al gecharmeerd door de foto's op de website maar in het echt was het nog beter! De communicatie was perfect, de aankomst was echt hartelijk en tijdens de rondleiding was het meteen duidelijk dat Philippe en Birgit dit met veel passie doen. Het ruime huis is niet alleen super-proper maar ook hyper-volledig ingericht met heel veel smaak: we voelden er ons meteen thuis! Het was een waar plezier om in deze keuken te koken. Er is echt aan alles gedacht. Het is een perfecte uitvalsbasis om de mooie regio te verkennen (de tips van Philippe en Birgit zijn echte aanraders). We hadden het geluk dat het prachtig weer as maar ook bij minder weer is het een super cosy huis. We hebben XXXL genoten. Aanrader!

Pour ceux qui veulent passer un moment au calme, entouré d'un environnement verdoyant. Que ce soit le Mont Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo ou Dinan, tout est à 30mn en voiture. Super emplacement. Aucun problème pour trouver le logement. Accès routier facile. Place de parking privative au pied de la porte d'entrée, Tout est propre, bien disposé et bien décoré. Grandes chambres, grandes salles de bain. Très bon Wifi disponible. Jardin bien équipé pour les enfants. Merci à nos hôtes pour les œufs frais (car il y a un poulailler ) et au palets bretons. Jolie attention. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter en cas de retour dans la région.

Wir haben als 5-köpfige Familie mit Hund hier unseren Urlaub verbracht. Wir wurden außergewöhnlich herzlich empfangen und auch während des Aufenthalts betreut. Für alle Fragen hatten Veronique und ihr Mann ein offenes Ohr und haben sofort unterstützt Das Haus ist sehr sauber und wunderschön mit viel Herz eingerichtet. Es bleiben keinerlei Wünsche offen! Der Garten ist riesengroß und sehr gepflegt und schön, sowohl die Kinder als auch der Hund waren überglücklich!! Wir kommen sicher wieder und empfehlen die Unterkunft zu 100%!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night to be in the area of Mont Saint Michel because we were doing a tour of it the next day. You can see it from Cancale and it’s only a 35 minute drive The minute we walked into the Airbnb we were charmed. So much thought and nuance has been put into the place! We were impressed how well he used the space that he had to make the renovations he did. The shower was great, worked well and the whole apartment was super clean and had a very pleasant smell. The free parking is basically on top of the Airbnb and short two minute walk down some charming slate stairs. Even the parking lot overlooking the whole bay was like a big open arm welcome. We don’t like oysters or much seafood but if you do this is the place to get it. They are famous for their oysters! Definitely recommend, and also recommend other Airbnb hosts to stay there; to see how it’s done!

tres beau logement au calme et à proximité de St Malo, Cancale, Dînant.... Delphine propose un logement de qualité. De nombreux équipements sont disponibles. Les lits sont confortables. Bref, tout est réuni pour que le séjour soit parfait. Merci beaucoup!

Superbe appartement, idéalement situé dans la ville haute. Parfait pour un séjour en bord de mer proche de toutes les commodités et de parkings gratuits. Merci à Eva pour ce séjour.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would recommend staying here to anyone. Nicholas was very responsive and accommodating. After 10 days traveling in Europe as a family, it was so nice to have some space to spread out in rather than staying another night in a hotel. There was a washing machine which we took advantage of to have some clean clothes to get us through the rest of the trip. The AirBnb is in a great location! Walkable to the Bayeux Tapestry, Bayeux Cathedral and lots of great restaurants and cafes.

Très bel appartement à proximité de la plage, grand et lumineux. Le jacuzzi est confortable et un vrai plus qu'on a beaucoup apprécié ! La grande chambre est belle, mais la lumière y rentre le matin par le plafond, il vaut mieux avoir un masque sur les yeux si on préfère dormir dans le noir :). Attention à bien lire l'annonce également, puisque les draps et serviettes ne sont pas inclus et sont mis à disposition avec un surcoût, ce que j'ai trouvé surprenant (j'avais manqué l'information dans le texte de l'annonce et n'ai pas apprécié).

Le logement est très bien équipé et correspond à l'annonce. Il y a différents espaces très bien conçus. L'espace jacuzzi est un vrai plus. J'y reviendrai avec plaisir.

Cinque stelle solo perché non è possibile dare di più! un posto da sogno è un'accoglienza davvero calorosa. In occasione di Ferragosto abbiamo anche partecipato a due serate di festa con Street Food bretone e musica. Gli host sono stati fantastici, non avremmo proprio voluto andar via!

Malgré la pluie nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette location où le cadre a été travaillé avec soin (mobilier, luminaires et tableaux chinés). Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la cabane perchée dans les arbres et ramasser les châtaignes dans le grand jardin. Il nous a manqué les feux dans la cheminée que nous aimons particulièrement à l'automne. Pour le reste, la location est bien située (proximité de la plage, visites de sites, quartier plutôt calme).

Un super séjour au bord de la mer. Le logement de Morgane est parfait ! Il est beau, propre, pratique, bien situé et plus encore. L'intérieur est très bien conçu, spacieux et comfortable. Tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin est à disposition. Le jardin est magnifique, bien exposé et surtout bien clôturé (idéal avec notre chien). Le jacuzzi est le + auquel nous n'aurions pas pensé mais dont nous avons profité avec plaisir. La plage est toute proche, la ville est jolie et calme et Morgane a de bonne suggestion si vous cherchez des activités dans les alentours. Nous avons vraiment passé une belle semaine, encore merci à nos hôtes pour leur super logement et leur réactivité pour répondre à nos questions. Je recommande sans hésitation !

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der umwerfenden Landschaft, dem gepflegten Haus und dem naturnahen Garten sehr genossen. 🫶 Durchweg perfekt. 👍Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne wieder! 🙌 Lieb gemeinter Optimierungsvorschlag: Bitte mehr Stauraum in den Schlafzimmern. Man nimmt ja immer bissle mehr zum Anziehen mit. 😉

Cecile and Francis put the super in superhost. They are attentive, friendly and responsive with plenty of good tips about the local area. Their home is one of those where the photos don’t do it justice - this is actually better than it looks. Location couldn’t be any more ideal: literally on the beach, you just have to roll out of bed and you’ll be swimming in the Atlantic. The house has been beautifully renovated and it’s decorated with attention to detail, lots of character and Cecile’s art work adding an extra layer of charm. A great hideout to explore Bretagne or to simply slow down, enjoy the scenery, the beach and the picture perfect sunsets on this quiet corner of St. Malo, away from the crowds. It’s very difficult to think of something that could be better… impossible actually. Almost feels like a well kept secret that you want to keep to yourself.

Maison très agréable, spacieuse et bien agencée, adaptée aux grands et aux petits, à 5min à pied du centre-ville de Cancale et 15min à pieds du port. Brigitte est une hôte très gentille et arrangeante. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à 3 familles sans jamais nous marcher dessus !

Logement très qualitatif, qui correspond aux descriptions, permettant de passer un excellent séjour. Les lits sont très confortables, le bain à remou très grand et la cuisine très fonctionnelle. A 2km des plages et cabanes de Gouville, rien à redire

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Tout simplement parfait. Petite maison à quelques pas de la plage, au calme... Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.
