Very nice apartment that was perfect for our family with two adults and two children:) Clean and nice, good space and cozy! A big plus with a garden with a playroom and toys that the kids could borrow inside. The host was also quick to answer questions and very helpful. We all had a great time and will be happy to come back :-)

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The host truly thought of everything to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. There were plenty of towels provided, a lovely welcome basket to greet us, and thoughtful amenities that made us feel right at home. The outdoor gas fireplace was a perfect spot to relax in the evenings, and the jacuzzi was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing a great way to unwind. We were especially impressed by the charging station for our electric car, which was incredibly convenient. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we are very satisfied. Highly recommend!

What a great beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. The apartment is spacious with a beautiful terrace with panoramic views. The beds are nice. The kitchen and bathroom are also nice and there is everything you could need to prepare a simple meal. Communication was good, we did not see each other 'live' but that was not necessary. We enjoyed it, thank you so much!

Oddbjørn was very kind, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed meeting him and his family. His home was charming and comfortable. The scenery and the stay was absolutely amazing!

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

Thor-Øistein has a perfect family home located close to school and kindergarden. There are great views from the living room. He always responds quickly, and is a serious and good host.

Absolutely beautiful setting. Right on the water. The home is stunningly designed and perfectly functional. Mari is an exceptionally communicative and helpful host. We did a two-week family vacation here with five people and it was perfect. 10 minutes from the airport in Vigra. And 10 minutes from downtown Alesund with great shopping and restaurants. Tons of great hiking and cruise experiences in the area. It’s a two hour drive (or cruise) from Geiranger Fjord, which is a must. I highly recommend staying at this place!

A very good option for those who want to experience the nice nature of the islands outside Ålesund, and at the same time have proximity to the city itself. For you with children, this is especially suitable with multiple bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bathtubs, 2 toll benches, large living room, etc. New, nice and "fresh", with most of what you need of amenities in the home. We had great communication with the host. They were available for small and big questions, responding quickly and accommodatingly. Recommended.

Helle’s home is beautiful! Our family had an amazing time using her place as a home base while exploring the area. Walkable from the home is a small market, a cute little playground and an entrance to the lovely walking paths that circle the island. We found Helle to be super friendly and responsive, and so accommodating. The home itself has lovely decor, and feels very peaceful. We were traveling with a toddler, and a highlight of the trip was sitting out on the deck after his bedtime to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view. For families with small children, it is worth noting that the home has two sets of stairs (to basement and bedroom area) and the backyard has a fairly steep slope, so best for kids who can navigate stairs/inclines safely, and/or parents who can keep a good eye on little ones. We had an amazing trip, and are so grateful we had an opportunity to stay in this beautiful place!

Beautiful, wonderful house, in a quiet neighbourhood and with a wonderful view of the ocean. Randi was exceptionally helpful throughout, and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday not far from Ålesund.

We had a great time at Eirik’s place. It’s a perfect location for activities in and around Ålesund. Eirik gave us some great hints, for example a hike on the Sukkertoppen. Up there you’ll get an amazing view on Ålesund and the beautiful and mighty mountain area around. A relaxed walk to the «Jugendstil» centre of Ålesund takes around 15 minutes. We highly recommend visiting the Jugendstilsenteret, Fiskerimuseet and of course Atlanterhavsparken - everything was huge fun and we learned a lot! If you’re not into walking; the bus stop is only 200 meters away. A special highlight was the private sauna. The kitchen has basic equipment and the flat was clean. Free parking in front of the house. We would definetly come back here. Thank you very much, Eirik!

Really nice place to stay....kids were happy as they had different TV to watch something of their choices...We stayed for 4 nights. Close by grocery shop , bus stop and close to trekking place (sukkertoppen), and aquarium. Would really recommend if you are small family of 2 adults + 2 kids

Staying at Vladimir's and Jana's house was a magnificent experience. We felt like at home. The home is beautiful, equipped with absolutely everything you might need. Especially for families with children it's an unbelievably great place as the house is full of toys which can be used by the children. Absolutely recommended and I would definitely book the house again

Beautiful place, nice and cosy apartment and friendly hosts!! We were very satisfied overall, the apartment was exactly what we wanted, the location is good if you own a car (20min from the city center), the nature nearby is really really beautiful and peaceful and the hosts were very helpful and friendly! The only minor downside was that sometimes we could hear the owners that live right above the apartment.

Great place with a fantastic host! This spot is lovely with wide views of Ålesund and surroundings, and a quick walk to the city center. The space is actually bigger than I expected, and has everything you could need, especially in the kitchen. Kathrine is incredibly nice and genuinely wants you to have a good experience. Highly recommended and I hope to return sometime

We were so happy the last time we took another stay here. Still very happy with both host and apartment, we would love to come here again. :)

The location and setting were amazing and the place was perfect. What made the stay extra special was Lidun and the time and care she took to make sure we knew where to go and had stuff to do. She helped us plan two amazing days within 1-2 hours of where she lived and we got to see so much of the area which is truly amazing. Even with mediocre weather we had a fabulous stay. We hope to be back here!!

Super nice location, easy to reach Ålesund city center and/or to go for nice hikes. Viktoria and Lars are very friendly and provide a lot of recommendations. The view from the terrasse is splendid, high risk to get stuck there looking at the panorama!

We had a very pleasant stay at Fatima's apartment. The apartment was very well equipped in both kitchen and bathroom.. The bathroom was large with washing machine and dryer. Cozy living room. Very clean and neat. Location close to Fosnavåg and with a cozy backyard. Fatima responded quickly to inquiries and was very nice and approachable. Highly recommend this place in Fosnavåg.

We have been to Randi for the second time and are still thrilled. You come into the apartment and feel at home. There are loving details everywhere. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything is sparkling clean. It is the best place on the round to get to the puffins. Great parking included. We are already looking forward to the 3rd stay at Randi's :-)
