Holiday rentals with a kayak in Glen Lake

Very peaceful stay, pristine property. Extra comfy beds and sparkling clean. Would love to come back!

The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The AC kind of went out and the hosts promptly got someone out to fix it. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a couple days on the boat (Northaire rentals), then did day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island and then a down day with the kayaks and SUP. My husband enjoyed fishing off the Dockside Pier. We enjoyed ice cream at Moomers, local cider at Royal Farms and our best meal at Toonie’s for Friday fish fry. Us southerners should have been better prepared for colder water and later seasons. The longer days also threw us for a loop but still a great first trip to Michigan!

Excellent lake house. Amazing views. Great amenities including a wonderful screened in porch, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, life jackets and plenty of toys. The house was immaculately clean on our arrival and exactly as it appears in the pictures. Very friendly neighbors as well!

We rented this for a winter getaway. The home was lovely and our family of 8 had a wonderful time. Playing ping-pong and other games, enjoying the fire place and having plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals together were some of our favorite inside activities. Being so close to trails meant we found lots of opportunities to be outside, too. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Tracy’s cabin was the exact summer get away we were looking for. The cabin was spotless, air conditioning, and wifi, it made it possible to finish off a work day and then hitting the Lake! A ton of water amenities as well at your disposal. 10/10 would totally go back!

The view was phenomenal, we couldn’t have asked for a better location. Super private and excluded but still close enough drive to town to grab dinner. We loved the outdoor shower for when you got back from the beach to rinse off. A super peaceful and relaxing location. We used the complimentary kayaks but it was a bit windy that day but it was fun to try. We loved the different seating areas overlooking the lake. The only thing missing is a hot tub but overall the home exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and in order. We would definitely book here again and we hope to bring our family back in the future !! Thank you. 😊

Great stay. There’s a little hill getting into the driveway that made me a little nervous, but it was fine. The inside of the home is absolutely perfect. And by the water is even better than the pictures. I had a few questions and they always responded so quickly and were very helpful.

Tiera’s Sanford Lake Cottage could not have been more perfect for our family! My three teenagers, mom, sister and I stayed in the cottage for five days. We were in town for my daughter’s Interlochen Academy graduation. even though the temperatures are very cold all week, my teenagers still got out on the kayaks and fish from the dock. We built a fire in the fire pit and made s’mores, and cooked our breakfast and a couple dinners in the well stocked kitchen. I also set up, decorated and had my daughter‘s graduation party for our family at the cottage. Being 1000 miles from home and trying to plan a graduation party for one of your children can be a tricky ordeal! The cottage could not have been a more beautiful, peaceful, cozy place for our family to gather! So grateful to have found Tiera’s listing! We were sad to leave the beautiful lakeside retreat!

Omg, I don’t have the words for how awesome this place is. First, it is exactly what you see in the pictures and more. Second, it’s not far from anything and third, it’s so peaceful. I could get lost in pure bliss there. Weather I was in the hot tub, the porch, at the table on the deck, the fire pit, the dock, or even just sitting on the beach collecting rocks. Absolute Heaven. I’ve even told the rest of my family that next time we go to Michigan, we’re going to Traverse City and we’re staying at this house. Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much. Thank you!

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Directly on the lake with an area for our kids to play, a dock to enjoy and an awesome porch and outdoor firepit. The house was very clean and had all cookware and basic items we needed. Great place for fun with the family or just go relax and unwind.

We had such an amazing time staying at Nancy’s cottage! Beautiful view of the lake and we had such a nice weekend. There were plenty of beds for everyone to have space and we loved the classic cottage lake vibe :) the water was amazing and refreshing. thanks so much !!

My husband and I took our pup to this place to celebrate Thanksgiving and loved the amazing spacious kitchen! The view was incredible (even during a blizzard!) and we felt right at home. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

We originally booked a different cottage in Ludington….only to find out we accidentally booked it for the wrong date. We cancelled that reservation and booked this location instead. Host responded immediately- huge relief to us since we were already on our way to the area. Directions to the house were spot on, which made it easy to find. Even though this was a last minute reservation, the house was ready for us. Yes, the furniture is dated but that was fine with us. There is so much to do in the area that we were gone most of the time. However, we did spend some time at the house to do some fishing out on the lake- they have a boat and canoe onsite that we were able to take out. Our last night there, we sat out by the fire pit and stargazed while we fished. It was perfect! Communication with host couldn’t have been any better. They checked in with us to make sure all was going well and responded right away when I accidentally locked ourselves out of the house. Would stay again.

My family booked the Wet Nest for 4 nights and it was PERFECT!! Everything we needed was provided, and in good condition. The cabin sits right on the water and have plenty of room for the kids to play!! I cant say enough good things about this place. We made some core memories and are already talking about going back! Thank you so much for a perfect stay!!

This is our second time staying at Laurie’s Airbnb and we love it. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the winter wonderland up there. Laurie is very communicative and very helpful. The place is comfy and we love that we can bring our dogs!

We had a great weekend. The cabin is lovely. We hiked at the nearby nature area, fished in the lake & surrounding areas, and explored downtown. We made breakfasts and dinners at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the variety of boats available.

The cabin was perfect. So many useful amenities. Perfect for our family snowmobiling trip.

This is our second time here, first in winter, now in summer. Loved it both times. Lots of stuff to do for all ages: fishing, swimming, kayaks and canoe available, gas fire pit, fire ring on the beach and multiple outdoor sitting areas. Saw beaver, bluegills, loons and hummingbirds. Plenty of towels and blankets and multiple fridges. Kitchen nicely stocked with supplies.

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a cozy spot close to skiing and other activities! Unexpectedly had toys, games, and even a pack and play. Great for families and kids! Our hosts helped with any issue that may have arisen and were quick to respond. They could not have been more helpful.

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole

Cozy Cabin was exactly that, including its great location. It fit our winter needs for our mini vacation perfectly with all that snow!! Lauri was pleasant to talk with as well!

My husband and I stayed in the cabin with our two kids and mother in law. It was very secluded and peaceful. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and tubes. There were plenty of downed branches in the woods to make a fire each night, and there was a small hatchet on the property to cut them up. I would recommend bringing groceries or going to the Pineview Discount store about 30 minutes away. Overall, I would absolutely rent this place again.
