Dinah’s place is absolutely lovely .. such a beautiful cosy space with everything you need. The court yard space was fantastic to be able to sit outside and enjoy dinner and a drink ..will definitely be back

Beautiful cottage, we really enjoyed our stay. Free parking just down the road. Nancy was an attentive host and responded to our questions quickly, she gave us lots of local info. We even managed to meet Nancy during our stay which was lovely. The homemade bread and flapjacks made by Nancy’s husband were delicious. We have so more of this area to explore and will come back at stay at Eva’s Cottage. Thanks for being a brilliant host Nancy

Absolutely fantastic place. Quiet yet close to pubs etc, several options. We went out one night but decided we just wanted to enjoy the fire etc after a cold day on Scafell Pike, which is close by. Will stay here again next time we are in the area. Just what we wanted.

A wonderful base to explore the western lakes, the coast and to venture through the mountain passes to Ambleside. The house had all we needed and the fuel for the log fire was a nice touch. Gosforth also has three good pubs, including the one right next door. We would stay again.
