Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella

Looks better than the photos. The apartment is huge and very comfortable. Loved the decor and very convenient location. The doorman of the building was also quite friendly and helpful. My only note (which is not the host’s fault) is that there was a strong sewer smell in one of the bathrooms which would then make the bedroom that was attached to that bathroom smell the same. Other than that we were very pleased with everything.

My family and I loved this place! The neighborhood is in a great location with easy access to the metro, bus stops, and Taxis. However, it is also very walkable to get to the beach, gothic quarter, Parc de la Ciutadella, and many other places! The inside of the apartment was very cozy and we really enjoyed having the balcony to sip our morning coffees. The hosts, especially Cristina, were extremely helpful, she greeted us the our first day and left us a bottle of wine in the fridge. We highly recommend this place to anyone that is open to exploring the city of Barcelona😊

Lieu calme à proximité de Barcelone. Nous avons apprécié la propreté du logement et les instructions claires. De nombreux équipements sont disponibles, c'est très fonctionnel. La terrasse est appréciable et la communication avec l'hôte très fluide. Nous ne sommes pas restées assez longtemps pour profiter de l'extérieur et des environs mais le quartier résidentiel semble très charmant.

Sehr gute Lage (20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand); viele nette Restaurants in der Umgebung; Metro-Station in der Nähe. Parkplatz ist sehr praktisch. Roger war sehr flexibel und hat uns viele sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Great host, welcoming and responsive. The location was nice, we had everything around and you should definitely give it a chance. The apartment was cozy and nice, giving us a chance to rest and chill privately after sightseeing the whole day! Would recommend for sure!

Desde la llegada al piso, todo fue espectacular. tanto el recibimiento de Cloe como la comunicación con Laura por mensajes, siempre atenta y respondiendo con rapidez. Estuvo dispuesta a ayudar durante toda nuestra estadía y el apartamento es realmente hermoso, impecable y con una ubicación extraordinaria. definitivamente volveremos!!

Thank you for the stay. The place was even better than what we expected and it was the perfect home away from home to explore Barcelona. The Terrace made me feel like a local and even though there is no lift, it is so worth the climb.

Very nice apartment on the 1st floor. Location can't be beat. Steps from the bus stop that will get you anywhere and on a main street so shopping, food, and grocery all there too. Nice private patio out back. Only 2 things to mention. The shower is microscopic. Not anything too out of the ordinary for parts of Europe, but if you're big you probably won't fit well. There was one very tiny bottle of shower gel left which maybe good for 1 and at best 2 showers. Leaving more would be nice else you'll be buying your own. Only other thing was, as advertised, there is a washing machine and dryer which is rare for Europe. However detergant isn't provided so it is useless to have them else you have to go out to buy soap and that defeats the point in my opinion. Unfortunitly I really needed the laundry which is why I had picked this place. Other than that everything was perfect.

wir hatten eine tolle zeit im appartment von oliver. die kommunikation war sehr top, alles sauber und die wohnung so wie auf den fotos mit viel platz. auch die lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen, mit der ubahn gut an das stadtzentrum angeboten. gerne wieder!

Silvia's flat in the Vila de Gracia neighborhood was perfect in location, and perfect quiet neighborhood feel. First of all, she was very sweet and personally greeted us, gave us instructions on how all the amenities worked, and left us a great little list of local places to eat. We took advantage, and the two places we tried were great! If we stayed longer, we would have had the time to try all her recs. Second, the eclectic style of her place was just great, especially for my two daughters. They both loved it. The backyard patio was beautiful. Like many Spanish style homes, out in the street, it doesn't look like anything. Just a door and maybe a window out front. But once you go inside, it opens up, usually with a beautiful tropical/lush garden out back. We really enjoyed her personal interior decoration style. Third, it was very centrally located for our needs. We focused on visiting Casa Batllo, and the Sagrada as we has a short stay. And it was perfect for walking to them.

Great stay at Sebastian’s place! Sants is a really lovely area, with lovely cafes. Very easy to find and near the metro. Great host!

I highly recommend Romina’s place in every aspect. Romina provided us with every convenience and made everything easy for us. She had thought of everything we might need. She also responded to our questions very quickly. The only problem was the constant renovation noise coming from the next-door neighbor. However, I believe that was just a temporary situation.

Apesar de ser um apartamento sem elevador, que para quem leva malas pesadas ou tem crianças tornar-se um pouco cansativo pois são 2 lances de escadas altos, é um excelente apartamento, muito bem localizado, servido de vários transportes públicos (metro, bus e taxis), a 7 minutos da praça da catalunha, junto à entrada do raval e com comércio nas redondezas (lidel e bon preu), bem como restaurantes tradicionais de tapas e cozinha espanhola e internacional. uma boa escolha para quem quer visitar os principais pontos turísticos de Barcelona e quer ter uma experiência do que significa viver Barcelona. recomendo este apartamento vivamente.

La maison est bien mieux en vrai qu’en photo ! Beaucoup d’espace, de belles grandes chambres, la clim est vraiment un plus. Tout est là pour que vous vous sentiez bien. Supermarché à 2 min à pied, piscine agréable, cuisine très fonctionnel, ascenseur dans la maison. Vraiment super séjour dans cette très belle maison. On reviendra avec grand plaisir !! C’était trop bien !!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Unterkunft! Besonders der Terrassenbereich hat uns sehr gut gefallen – perfekt zum Entspannen und den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Die Unterkunft war stets sauber und gepflegt, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch: Der Flughafen ist in der Nähe, und mit dem Taxi sind es nur etwa 15 Minuten bis zur Unterkunft. Außerdem gibt es an jeder Ecke eine Bushaltestelle, was die Mobilität sehr erleichtert. Ein Supermarkt ist ebenfalls in der Nähe, sodass man bequem alles Nötige einkaufen kann. Ein besonderes Highlight war die herzliche Begrüßung durch Juliana. Sie hat uns sehr liebevoll empfangen und sogar bei Problemen mit dem Taxi geholfen. Sie hat einen sehr sympathischen Eindruck hinterlassen und hat unseren Aufenthalt dadurch noch angenehmer gemacht. Wir können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Good place accessible pool plenty transport links to attractions and busier areas nearby. Lovely restaurants and bakeries nearby within 10/15 minute walk. Plenty amenities to cook with and watch telly and good size balcony.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end chez Mercedes. Mercedes est une personne très agréable,souriante,toujours disponible pour discuter et rendre service. Plus qu'une hôte,on dirait qu elle est de la famille. elle donne des bons conseils de visites et autres. Ses logements sont très bien équipés, très fonctionnels et la piscine un gros plus après des journées de visites sous la chaleur! Barcelone est à 30 mins en train et il faut compter 20 mins de marche pour rejoindre la station de train. Il y a des bus à passer à 50 m de sa maison mais peu fréquent surtout le week-end. Nous avons manger dans 1 super restaurant la Ponderosa à 10mins de marche ou la paella,les tapas sont excellents et bon marché! Pour résumer je conseille fortement le logement de Mercedes qui se trouve au calme loin du tumulte de Barcelone pour passer des soirée détente et des nuits reposantes. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Would definitely recommend. Wife and I stayed with our 2 year old son, and they had a booster seat and pack n play all setup up on our arrival. Location is close to the beach, and walkable to most attractions. Host is responsive and provided recommendations for our stay.

Anna was an incredible host - very responsive and attentive. Her place is beautiful and the pool is hard to beat. Gracia is a wonderful neighborhood, quiet, homey but also lively and vibrant. We have 2 kids and would highly recommend this place.

Myself and 10 friends booked this villa for a week and it was such a fantastic experience! The villa and surrounding grounds are spectacular. The villa is clean, bedrooms comfortable and all modern appliances to cook for yourself and plenty of space for up to 12 people. There is a small grocery shop 4 min walk away where we were able to do all of our shopping, very handy. It would be even better if there was more sun loungers for all guests for next time. Chee-Kong was great and made sure we were comfortable and happy! We plan to book again in the future.
