Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella

Oscar and Jose Luis were excellent hosts, they were communicative, friendly, and very helpful. The space was perfect, clean, and in a central location so it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to. The building was safe and quiet and the terrace was beautiful.

Everything was absolutely perfect and there was virtually nothing to criticize. We were allowed to check in earlier, which was really appreciated, and the home had a great location and was cleaned. The only disadvantage was that there could be a lot of noise at night from the street (probably especially on weekends).

Fantastic Barcelona location and incredibly family-friendly - by far the most thoughtful and well-prepared place I’ve ever stayed with my young children. This place had it all - high chair, beach toys, baby bath, baby gate, nursery with blackout curtains (and spare diapers!), even stuffed animals in the bedroom, only to name a few highlights. It’s the first place I’ve ever stayed where the photos actually undersell the space - it’s even better in person. Very easy walking distance to restaurants, metro, parks, and shops, and that’s measured in “young children” distances. Wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Lovely place and a helpful host!

We felt comfortable from the first moment. Everything tip top clean. The very cozy roof terrace is particularly noteworthy! Absolutely recommended. Jessica was always easy to reach!

Me and my group of 4 friends had an amazing stay at this airbnb! The view from the apartment is so worth it and the area is also very safe. The check-in and check-out time and process was also very flexible and easy to do so we appreciated that as well. Only thing that felt a little off was the doorbell ringing sometimes but otherwise the place was extremely clean, spacious, and well maintained. It was also easy to catch a uber/bolt from the place to go into the city and it was also not that far from the airport. Would definitely stay at this place again when we visit Barcelona again.

if you are looking for a clean spacious well done up house at a great location safe peaceful and just 3 mins walking to sagrada familia also we can see it from our homes then this is it. what a lovely stay we had. the house made us feel at home. we took the 3 bedroom apartment as we were a family of 5 with a 11 year old. the house was just as in the pictures the location could get better safe and minutes walking to great restaurants cafes live music metro station just a 2 mins walk. bus stops and a easy corner to get cabs. we were welcomed by the host with warmth and our stay for 4 nights was just amazing. we got a great deal and we were very happy. I would rate the property and the host a 9 out of 10. and for the experience a 10 on 10. thank you.

Jadisa was a lovely host! She made sure we were well looked after, gifted us juice and water on arrival, and offered her continual help throughout our stay! 🥰 I would definitely recommend staying here!

My son and I stayed at Xenia's place for three nights. Even before our stay, questions were responded to quickly and offered to store the suitcase well before check-in. Xenia even picked us up on the bus and showed us in a small tour of the place the various bus stops, the train station, restaurants, etc. The apartment corresponded exactly to the description. We traveled a lot during the day but when we were in the apartment we felt like we were alone. Xenia was always quick to reach, absolutely warm and made us feel at home. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the time at Xenia's!

We had a really nice stay at the appartement in Sitges. Such a beautiful place, away from the busy city center, but still at walking distance. We couldn’t have asked for more ! Sue was always really responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Apartment with services in accordance with what is advertised. If this is your first visit to Barcelona, Lorena's tips are relevant because she knows her city well. Her suggestions (although we did not follow them all) allow us to calmly prepare for the stay. Special mention for Pedro who was responsive and friendly. He was able to answer our questions.

We headed here for 4 nights relaxation following 4 nights in Barcelona, and we got just that!! We had a lovely stay. The apartment was beautiful and the pool a welcome addition in the heat! The effort that Remi and Katia go to so you feel welcome is exceptional. It really did feel like home from home. The location is peaceful and the views are stunning! The beaches are beautiful and the town was welcoming and busy in the evenings, which was great. We loved the Olave Plaza for food but there is a lot of choice. Getting about…. We used taxis to get around which are reasonably priced or there is a bus stop right outside. We would consider hiring a car if we came again, which we would love to do!! Silvia was a brilliant host, she was very responsive to messages and helped us find the place. She was very understanding when our flight was delayed and allowed us to check in late. We found the appartment even bigger than the photos. The neighbourhood and apartment building was very nice and felt very safe, and the metro and buses were very useful for getting around. 10/10!

I really enjoyed my stay at Carla's place and felt very welcome right away. The flat is a beautiful place to relax and the area is great for long walks, and there's great restaurants in the area, too. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own food. The communication with Carla was always friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay in El Prat! :)

The property was exactly as described on listing. There was also a fan present, which is very useful with the high temperatures in Barcelona. Rosa is a very friendly woman, she is concerned and very helpful. Because you end up in the center of Gracia, there are many shops and restaurants, very convenient, you do not have to walk far to have fun experiences. There is also a bus stop in the street, which bus takes you to the center of Barcelona. This location is definitely recommended, I will be back next year!

Amazing place, would highly recommend!

The house is perfect: very well located, very good roads, close to Barcelona, supermarkets and very nice cities. We enjoyed both my family (with teenage children) and I, an unbeatable week. The house is spacious, clean and with an excellent air conditioning system, which is appreciated in the summer. Although the listing did not correspond to the rental, the house was even better than expected. Thank you very much Desire.

Lourdes was the best host. Very communicative and helpful, even drove us to the shops. We loved our stay, very relaxing and restful after a busy five weeks in Morocco, Portugal and Spain.,

In Marta's house, quality is everywhere, down to the smallest details. It is also very suitable for children (swimming pool, games, etc.). And above all, there is Marta, warm and very responsive to the slightest request, who ensures the comfort of her guests. If we come back to this beautiful region, it will definitely be at Marta's

The house is huge with a wonderful view, and located by a lot of vineyards. There was 9 of us and the kids really enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pingpong table. The property is located further out away from bigger cities. We saw wild baby pigs and a small fox. You do need a car. And there is a garage to park in to avoid the sun. An added bonus as it gets hot. There is a town with a great grocery store 5 minutes away. We did all of our shopping there. We drove to Barcelona, Sitges, and Costa Brava without any issues. It’s the perfect place for an idyllic and authentic Spanish getaway. All the people we met walking around the block were super friendly and carried on a full conversation in Spanish with us knowing we don’t speak it. It was cool.

Josep is an amazing host. He has a lovely home which is very eager to share. The amenities are great, the pool is just what you need on a hot morning. El Masnou is a lovely area in itself but has good transport links to central Barcelona.
