Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

We can’t speak highly enough about Anke and her apartment. The whole experience was truly incredible! From breathtaking views right from the front patio, to walkability and free bus to everywhere we wanted to go, to Ankes great local recommendations and her sweet personality- She made us feel right at home immediately. The apartment is pristine and larger than it looks in photos. We loved having coffee out on the private patio in the mornings and wine in the evenings while gazing at the beautiful view of the Eiger! Grindelwald is a very special place and we can’t wait to come back and stay with Anke again!

We loved our stay at Angie’s Apartment! It was the perfect home base for exploring other cities by train or exploring mountain towns on foot/hiking. The apartment was very spacious for two adults. The beds were comfortable, the shower water was always hot and the views were spectacular. We loved checking out Angie’s local suggestions and thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the patio and taking in Staubbach falls and the mountains. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Lauterbrunnen valley and having a great home base for the surrounding areas.

I highly recommend everyone to stay in this house. It has the most beautiful little garden in Brienz. It is a happy thing to lie here for an afternoon, and it is very quiet and convenient for transportation. Although it is next to the train station, it will not be noisy at all!!It's💯 a 100% residence!

Sonja’s place was just as described, very clean and well equipped with everything needed for home cooking! Great WiFi and lots of games to play! Sonja was friendly and left very clear instructions for using the apartment. Great location for skiing the Aletsch Arena, short walk to the train station with free trains to and from the Fiesch cable car. 10/10 would stay again!

Simply beautiful views from all angles. Lovely place and would stay again.

This place is centrally located in the heart of Lauterbrunnen but still remains quiet and tranquil just out of the way of the Main Street / restaurants and can sleep easily. Easy to go and see all the sights either by walking or bus. The train station is just a 7 minute walk as well and opens up further areas around to explore. The flat is perfect as a base and the kitchen enables you to self cater more cheaply as the restaurant food prices are quite expensive. There’s a local coop supermarket that has lots of food to cook. Shower is also really nice, powerful and hot. Manuela is also really nice and very helpful and insightful giving tips of where to go and what to see. We also arrived early and was allowed to check in with no problems as the property was ready which was a lovely bonus :) Definitely recommend and if we come again we will deffo stay here! PS the flat/TV has “Blue” which meant I could watch Arsenal vs PSG which was nice extra as well! Thank you Joe and Stef

Paul is a great host and the views of this Airbnb are incredible. About an hour or two away from most places in the country. Absolutely beautiful being right on the lake. I would love to stay here again.

We spent one night at this property to explore the surrounding pass roads and were completely satisfied. The accommodation corresponded exactly to the description and was superbly equipped. The ample parking facilities nearby are particularly positive. The contact with Sandro was quick, uncomplicated and very friendly. We can fully recommend this property!

What a beautiful place! An entire top floor flat/cottage overlooking amazing surroundings and beautiful mountains views. Every single thing you need at a home is provided. Nothing was missing at all. My wife and I had this booking for our special occasion and we enjoyed our stay very much. We encountered a very small issue, and it was quickly resolved by the host, plus we received a 100 CHF refund for any inconvenience we had, this shows how caring the host was and how professional in managing issues encountered. The place is more beautiful in person than it is in the pictures, lots of natural light with big balcony and windows. Thanks a lot Dorothée and Samuel for having us and good luck.

The apartment was amazing and the views beyond breathtaking with views of the falls from all three bedrooms and the kitchen. Lauterbrunnen was a great choice for our basecamp to visit the surrounding towns. For those wondering if you should take the train or rent a car, we were so thankful that we decided to rent a car. We weren’t bound to transportation schedules and was able to explore, but took the train to the towns like Mürren where cars are not allowed. And the apartment has a garage! Richard was kind enough to let us keep the car parked after check out so we could explore the area some more. One thing to note, the apartment is on the second floor so if you have a lot of luggages like we did, it may be a struggle. We will definitely be back!

I came to Switzerland on Airbnb for my honeymoon, and it was in better condition than the 5-star hotel, and the host was so good at managing the house that I didn't leave a soup. I told my husband that I would stay here next time. The location was so good that it was good to move around. The view from the terrace was so touch that I couldn't really talk.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a great location—perfect for exploring the area. 10 minutes walk to town centre, supermarkets and First cable car. 10 minutes drive to Eiger gondola. Communication was smooth, and check-in was hassle-free. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we really appreciated the comfort after long days out. One suggestion: having a washer and dryer would be especially helpful, especially during wet weather. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay on the Eggbergen. It was truly a memorable experience. The apartment was spacious, beautifully equipped, and offered breathtaking views straight out of a picture book. We felt warmly welcomed and appreciated the many helpful tips we received during our time there. The fresh eggs, and other local produce from the nearby farm shop were a real treat, and we’ll definitely miss the peaceful atmosphere and the cows grazing below the house. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature in a stunning setting!

The best host and a lovely place.

INCREDIBLE!! The photos don’t do justice to just how truly incredible this place is. I would recommend 10/10 times and would come back in a second. Marlise, her husband Chrigel and son Mike were all incredibly kind and welcoming, helping us get a more local experience. The apartment itself has everything you need, and is located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train/boat station, restaurants and grocery stores. The hot tub/ sauna and outdoor shower, mixed with the view make this place a relaxing paradise.

Absolutely perfect Swiss chalet tucked away on the edge of the village. Stunning view of the 3 mountains, and well placed for various local walks as well as excursions further afield. Liza looked after us extremely well, always on hand for any problems (there were none!) or to help with any queries, and always with such good humour. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Everything is cozy and nice to stay

Once we arrived Bart greatest is. He was extremely friendly and answered any questions we had. His place was clean and it was definitely what was pictured. The location was peaceful and the ability to sit in the Hot tub in the evening time and gaze out at the mountains and listen to the cowbells. I would highly recommend this place.

We appreciated Nicolas' kindness and responsiveness. Everything was easy and smooth during this stay. We were able to benefit from the parking space longer than expected, which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is functional, nice decoration with linens. It's nice little touches. Note that there was, among other things, household paper, spices, dishwashing liquid and coffee capsules available. Thank you!
