Tower holiday rentals in Great Britain

This was one of the most unusual places I’ve ever stayed in. We did have a few walkers come up from Chatsworth and admire the view but mainly we were in splendid isolation. Walking around the woods and admiring the Aqueduct in the evening was quite magical; it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The tower itself is an amazing survival from Tudor times and has been modernised sympathetically. The round shower was a favourite feature. The nearby farm shop was very good with a wide range of good quality food. It did snow whilst we were there but Sandra from Chatsworth Cottages kept in touch and made sure we were fine which was much appreciated. Altogether I would recommend the tower for anyone who wants to stay somewhere unusual and highly memorable. One word of caution though there is a spiral staircase connecting the floors so the building is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

A great place for a family holiday. Perfect for teenagers & adults. Elderly guests can stay on the lower floors. Very well kitted out with everything you might need. Would recommend it for 12 people. Also accommodates dogs.

We were made to feel so welcome as if we were staying with an old friend rather than just a guest. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and filled with little surprises that made us smile. If you’re looking for something different from the ordinary, a place with heart and soul, this is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will be returning!

Wow… This place is the best place I have ever stayed, the value for money is unmatched! Janette, Russell and Teresa were all lovely and all made us feel so welcome! Constant check ins making sure everything is okay which was amazing! The property was something I’ve never seen before, it was private the room was outstanding, the hot tub with the view through the day was amazing but even better at night with the lights on. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, I highly recommend this place! Thank you Janette, Russel and Teresa for an amazing stay! We will be back for sure! Many Thanks Jack

For us the Tower was the ultimate family getaway. From Matthew’s initial welcome and history tour, to the eco and tech credentials, to the luxury bathing and kitchen facilities, to the super comfortable bed, to the fun laundry chute, to the ‘chatty’ handbook, to the panoramic living space, to the intoxicating vistas, it could not have been more perfect. The building instils a sense of harmony and ease, not least through being able to commune with nature on the roof terrace at 23m, (weather permitting, the hot tub is a must), but also because it hums with the pride that Matthew, Ali, Daisy and Poppy take in it and the joy of those who are lucky enough to share in it. Thank you from all of us.

This is a unique and wonderful place to stay. The views were incredible. We really didn't want to leave! Obviously be prepared for the steps - don't leave your glasses in the bottom bedroom when you want to sit and read on the top floor! We had everything we needed and it was all clean and lovely. The towels were really soft! We had two large family cars and struggled at first to work out where and how to get them into the slightly small parking area, but it worked fine. Having the electric car charging point was a bonus, although I must have done something wrong as it didn't charge my car! We didn't really use the TV, we tried at one point to use the Amazon Fire stick but couldn't work out to turn it on for ages (it needs plugging into the USB plug below the TV). When we did turn it on it was very slow to respond and buffered quite a bit. It wasn't the wifi as we ended up watching a film on our laptop instead with no problems. We would definitely visit again, when we can save for it!

The location is perfect and you can spend most of your time here just looking out at the sea. There are plenty of walks from the doorstep and loads of places to visit. The accommodation was very clean and well laid out. There was everything we needed and more.
