Periwinkle Cottage

A truly delightful, terraced, natural stone-built cottage in the picturesque village of Great Longstone in the Peak District. Oak floors and exposed stone walls add to the character of this cottage, not too mention the wood burner to curl up by after a day exploring this beautiful part of the country. The pretty village of Great Longstone is set in a wonderful location in the heart of the Peak District National Park, flanked by Longstone Edge, with Bakewell and Chatsworth House close by.

Self contained annex - Peak District riverside

A private, self-contained, en-suite annex, next to the River Wye, in a tranquil setting. Direct access to covered (new 2023) decking area & shared garden so you can enjoy the water, wildlife and countryside. Food prep area with fridge, microwave, sink, kettle & toaster. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, cycle routes and climbing opportunities. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District. Car highly recommended. The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.

Leaside Cottage, Great Longstone, Bakewell.

Our lovely 18th century cottage was completely renovated to the highest standard in 2016 with solid oak fittings throughout offering guests luxury and homely accommodation. The cottage easily accommodates 3 people with one double bedroom with king size bed and one spacious single bedroom. The cottage has full central heating with radiators in all rooms, and under floor heating in the kitchen. For extra cosy nights there is also a log burning stove in a Derbyshire gritstone fireplace.

Idyllic, The Coach House, Ashford-in-the-Water

A beautiful, recently converted, barn which was originally a Coach House. Totally newly renovated in 2018 this two bed, two bath cottage is set in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views and direct access across the owners' field to a footpath which leads either down to the famously picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Separately available is Groom's Cottage, next door, also brand new and sleeping 2 people in equal style.

Applehoe Cottage is a beautifully refurbished country cottage nestled in the heart of the village of Great Longstone nr Bakewell. This 2 bedroomed holiday cottage is perfect for a romantic hideaway or cosy family retreat. Dog Friendly, we can accept 1 dog, and an additional fee of £30.00 is payable. Idyllic village location with a shop & two great pubs within walking distance. A short walk to the Monsal Trail & the perfect base to visit Derbyshires fine country estates.

Chert Cottage, Great Longstone, Bakewell Peak Dist

Chert Cottage is a delightful and private two bedroomed detached cottage that was refurbished in 2020. The cottage sits off the road with it's own drive, great gardens and private patio, along with ample private parking. Well behaved pets are welcome. All of this in the wonderfully picturesque Peak District village of Great Longstone, just minutes from the Monsal trail and Chatsworth House. Bakewell is also close by, along with lots of walking opportunities.

This is the perfect base to really enjoy all that the Peak District has to offer- including the most epic view of all at Monsal Head and the Headstone Viaduct. Located at Hobb’s Cafe so you have a quaint little cafe right next door! Enjoy breathtaking views all to yourself in the mornings and evenings.
