What an amazing place! We loved the wood burner and all the possible activities: hot tub, heated swimming pool, tennis, table tennis, crash mat, kayak, trampoline , horses, goats, chickens, and much more! it's the perfect place for a holiday with the family, the whole estate is a destination in itself.

We had a beautiful week at The Cart Barn, beautiful location with beautiful views and a private garden which was perfect for our pooch! we spent most of our evenings watching the beautiful cows out the garden! the hot tub was a lovely addition and the barn had everything we needed to make ourselves and our dog feel at home! Some great recommendations in the welcome book and from the owners of local things to do! Will definitely be returning in the future! :)

Just back home after 5 very relaxing nights at The Net Loft. A beautiful, secluded hideaway with everything anyone could want/need for a few days away. The accommodation is extremely well equipped with the best appliances. The bed is so comfortable! With the bifold doors open sitting in the lounge area was so relaxing. It is a quick walk into the centre of Croyde where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to appeal to all tastes and budgets. Would definitely recommend The Net Loft. We will definitely be back. A brilliant stay in sues lodge. It’s so close to the beach! It was such an added extra to have a hot tub and the lodge was beautifully clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Spotlessly clean and bright. Very well equipped modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge and bedrooms and a sunny conservatory for dining in. Our host Helen welcomed us and a gorgeous cream tea awaited us, together with homemade scones, jam and bread. Milk, butter and eggs also provided. Such attention to detail. The garden is pretty and dog safe. Helen even provided dog bowls and towels and a treat! We would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed.

A fabulous little hideaway perfect for dogs! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing break! The secure garden meant the dogs could roam freely and every detail was thought of. The house was immaculate and really comfortable and a great central base for exploring Cornwall. We WILL be back!

Lesley’s place was perfect for our needs. It was peaceful and it was close to all of the things we wanted to do in the area. The cottage was clean, the kitchen has everything we needed to cook and eat in. It was a bit of a climb to get to the entrance and it was two floors, so anyone with mobility issues should look at that. However, we had a great stay in a very beautiful part of the UK.

Glebe cottage is a wonderful countryside retreat yet only a mile from RHS Rosemoor and the Tarka trail. The cottage was beautifully presented and had everything we needed for a restful time. Jax was extremely helpful and communication couldn't have been better. The access to the meadow walk beyond the garden was a perfect stroll at the start and end of the day with Betty the Springer. Thankyou.

A lovely stay, the kids (5 & 3) absolutely loved the morning animal feed and games room. Mike and Julie were very friendly and helpful will trips out. We made use of the ample toddler equipment (including a bed guard). Enjoyed exploring the area even though the weather forgot it was summer, loved Clovelly and local beaches.

A lovely week away in this beautiful cottage. Lovely space to be and lots of great things to do in the surrounding area such as Hartland Quay, Instow and Braunton! We will definitely be back here again!

Wow! Fantastic accommodation - beautiful and tastefully decorated. Everything you need is already thought of. Set in the most idyllic setting with a beautiful walk on doorstep. Simon and Tracey respond immediately. Thank you for the cake guys. Perfect place to stay.

Good communications with Patrick prior to the break. A very warm and friendly greeting on arrival. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and had everything required. The smallholding, with its wide variety of animals was an added bonus. Certainly enjoyed feeding time. Good central position, with the choice of going to the coast or inland to the Moors. Would highly recommend, and hopefully return in the future.

Staunton Cottage is lovely, a cottage nestled with another and the farm house. Geese nest and sheep graze, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. The gas fire and central heating kept us perfectly warm and cozy, even on cooler evenings. Inside, the cottage was immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The shower was hot and there was enough equipment in the kitchen for us to cook every day. Mike was the perfect superhost – so welcoming and helpful with local tips, yet respecting our privacy entirely. Communication was excellent throughout. We felt truly relaxed and looked after. A wonderful escape in beautiful Devon!

Bolthole - “a place that you can go to when you want to get away from your usual life and escape from other people” This is exactly what you get. With a cosy atmosphere and stunning view in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Plenty to do and ideal for doing nothing. Loved it.

Great find - secluded and quiet, comfortable and clean property with great views. Away from any crowds and peaceful (with sheep in the next field and in the garden), but very easy to drive to the coast and to other places of interest (RHS Rosemoor is only around 40 minutes away and a lovely spot for a visit). The Waitrose shop in Holsworthy is only a 5 minute drive away and makes self-catering really easy. Great for a relaxing break!

We really enjoyed staying here during February half term (family of 4 - kids 11 and 7). The weather was fairly terrible but it didn’t matter as we had use of the pool and my husband was happy fishing in the rain! Accommodation well equipped and clean and really warm. The pool is beautiful and the rota system is good meaning you know you have the pool to yourself for half the day, then the other cottage gets it for the other half (other than the cheeky people next door on Thursday morning who ignored the rota and went in anyway when it was our turn…) The cottage is so peaceful with beautiful countryside around and our dog loved the field and woods. We went to RHS Rosemoor and highly recommend The Globe at Beaford for good food and really friendly service. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing few days away.

We had a brilliant stay at Hideaway Cottage. It was well equipped, comfortable for 4 adults and the views (and sunsets) from the garden were absolutely stunning. Appledore itself is a perfect location to explore North Devon. Thanks also for the cream tea!

Lovely property in a fantastic location. Beautiful countryside surroundings, peaceful and relaxing. Well situated for exploring North Devon. Nicola and Simon were great hosts, very friendly, welcoming, attentive and amenable, just at the end of the phone if we needed anything. The whole package made for a brilliant and relaxing holiday with the young family.

We had a second very comfortable stay.The nights were below freezing , but the cottage was warm and cosy from arrival. Highly recommend Prospect Cottage , it’s in a lovely village with the wonderful Bell inn a few steps away.

The barn was superb, even better than the photos. Lovely and clean, fresh bedding and towels provided. Everything you needed was in the kitchen, the hosts had thought of everything and even supplied coal for the BBQ. Great informative welcome booklet about the property, things to do, local walks, food & pub recommendations etc. Ideal location for North Devon. Hosts were great and provided everything we needed. A lovely cream tea was waiting for us when we arrived. We would highly recommend this place and will be back.

The cottage was just what we were looking for. It was easy to find, comfortable, clean, spacious, the garden was private and the perfect size for our little dog. The best welcome pack ever, it was close to all amenities. Lots of great places to eat. Lots of walks. We love North Devon and will definitely recommend and come back to the cottage.
