Private Cottage - Countryside Farm Stay

Situated at the edge of Baildon moor, boasting amazing views of the surrounding countryside, we are surrounded by fields and stunning views. The perfect place to relax! We are a short walk from Baildon village, where you’ll find pubs, shops, restaurants and takeaways, and Leeds city is just 15 mins on the train. We are located on our family farm with some animals on site, we have horses, dogs, cats and our two pet micro pigs Gavin & Stacey. So some farm noises are to be expected on a morning!

Long Fall Bothy is a gorgeous stone building on the outskirts of Marsden village in West Yorkshire. Perfect for a walking holiday, the Kirklees Way passes the property and the Pennine Way, Oldham Way are close by. A great place for mountain biking with the Transpennine Trail a few miles away and lots of cycle paths/trails on your doorstep. Local real ale pubs and plenty of cafes in Marsden village a short walk (15 minutes) along the canal. Beautiful scenery, views from the cottage are amazing.

The cottage has a flat screen TV and DVD player and has a modern kitchen and bathroom with shower .All the rooms are on one level .There is ample parking in the courtyard for guests. The cottage has Wifi and a wood burning stove. We are approx 20 minutes from the centre of York, and a short drive away we have lovely local pubs that serve great food .

Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon.
