Lovely one bedroom studio apartment. Amazing views, lemon trees and dozens of wild peacocks roam the yard. Very relaxing and peaceful, perfect for couples. Attached in-law suite with a private entrance. You have the entire space to yourself! 450 sq ft, full bath with washer/dryer. Kitchenette w/ full size fridge. HDTV with Amazon FireTV stick and free WiFi. Heating and A/C. There is a huge private deck w/ seating and a BBQ. One queen bed w/ down comforter and down mattress topper...very comfy!

This was an easy win in my book. it can be hard to find places that feel safe and comfortable but this was definitely one of them. mind you, I was rarely at the hall - only in the mornings and at night as I had packed days while visiting California. I would stay here again if given the chance.

Betsy and Mike's home was a delightful place to make my home base for 1 week, as I cycled the mountains. Really appreciated the advice from Betsy before and during my stay about easy nature hikes/traffic in addition to all the comfortable and several amenities. I am grateful hosts to offer to share their homes with us. Hiked in the nearby Wildwood Park to Paradise Falls. Was awed by the El Matador Beach, scenic trail from La Jolla Canyon and the sunset from Pt Dume. Loved chatting with them both - to hear a bit of their stories too!

Mike and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming — truly great hosts. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and their hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay with warm, thoughtful hosts.
