Welcome to our old farmhouse, part of which has been transformed into an atmospheric B&B. Particularly decorated with lots of art on the wall and a well-stocked bookcase. You have your own private entrance with cozy living room, bedroom and private shower/toilet. There is television, with Netflix and You Tube. A FULL BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. The b and b is located separately and closed off from main house. Private entrance, a private bedroom and a private bathroom. There is one b and one b space.

U heeft een eigen ingang en de Woodpecker beschikt over twee royale slaapkamers, beide met een eigen douche en toilet. De keuken is uitgerust met alle basisgemakken. De bungalow is geschikt voor maximaal vier personen. Woodpecker Leeuwarden kan ook via een eigen site geboekt worden. We gaan het laatste seizoen in om ergens anders weer opnieuw te beginnen. Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Unique mini studio in heart of downtown Leeuwarden.

This spot was perfect. My sister and I were here from Canada for the week to visit family and celebrate the 80th liberation. We had easy access to everything by stepping out the front door. The two separate bedrooms allowed us our privacy. The beds were super comfy. Loved the little terrace too. Marijke was very kind and helpful. If we’re ever back we would stay here again. Thanks, Marijke.

Very nice accommodation at the end of a cul-de-sac, furnished with a lot of love. The reception was warm, we felt welcome right away. It was only a few minutes' walk to the train station and the city. So only recommended! We'll be back :)

Spacious house, neat and easily accessible. In principle, everything you can think of is there. The owners also live there a few days a month, which makes them also have their belongings there, but in no way is that an annoyance or a downside in any way. Practically around the corner you have shops (from AH to Kruidvat) and you are also in the center of Leeuwarden in no time to shop. Contact is easy and fast. Very friendly and thoughtful in possibilities/wishes.

The studio is lovely and just as described in the booking. The location is great. Just a quick walk to parks, restaurants, cafes, shops, and a grocery store. The neighborhood felt very safe and there is a parking garage nearby that only costs €4 per day. NHL Stenden is about a 15 minute walk. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for all three of us to take a shower. We will definitely be back. :-)

Very stylishly furnished room (musical theme), easily accessible from the entrance and facing the front garden. Great private en-suite bathroom. Wim was a great host, available to talk about the shared love of music. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
