Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Guéthary

Maison authentique dans un environnement très calme sans vis à vis. Très agréable séjour dans une belle région avec de très nombreuses balades pour ceux qui aiment faire des randonnées avec du relief. Maison très bien située proche de Biarritz, de l'espagne, de l'océan et des principaux villages basques ... Nous reviendrons.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette charmante maison basque, idéale pour des vacances en famille. La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée et chaque chambre dispose de sa propre salle de bain. L'environnement est très calme, parfait pour se détendre. La vue est magnifique et l'emplacement est parfait, proche de Saint-Jean-de-Luz, San Sebastian et des commodités. Merci à Marie-Hélène et son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur disponibilité.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans une maison charmante, située dans un quartier paisible, tout près de la plage et des commerces en voiture. L’accueil de Loïc et Johanna a été chaleureux, et la maison était impeccable, parfaitement équipée avec tout ce qu’il fallait pour se sentir comme chez soi. Un grand merci à eux pour leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité.

Sandra was a fantastic host greeting us by producing lovely meat, cheese, wine and beer in the bar area. She was contactable throughout our stay and has been helpful sorting out something for me since we left. The property is amazing with 5 bedrooms and several bathrooms/WCs. We used the pool and hot tub every day along with the games room containing a pool table and bar with a fridge and dishwasher. The rear garden is huge and the is a petanque court and table tennis table. There is generous outside space to eat (there were 9 of us) helped by a good sized gas bbq. The kitchen has loads of space with many of the cupboards full of items to be used. The nearest supermarkets (Intermarche & Carrefour) are both a few minutes drive with Carrefour offering low costs fuel. It is a relatively short drive to Bayonne which is a lovely town astride a river with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops with pretty good car parks available. Overall a lovely villa with a fantastic host.

8 of us ( 3 generations) enjoyed Patricia's house & the exceptional, ever changing views. The house was spotless & very well equipped for lots of cooking. We were blessed with glorious weather which meant we were never forced to sit indoors as the comfy seating is a bit lacking for more than 6 people, although there is plenty outdoors. The sunshine enabled us to go out every day, walking, or with the numerous public transport options, so a car is not necessarily needed. Patricia was very helpful & informative, showing some of us around & offering tips, but a house manual with local information & recommendations would be a useful extra. Thank you Patricia.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von bruno und Karin empfangen. Karin hat uns auf englisch ein paar gute Ausflugstipps geben können. In dem Haus ist alles vorhanden sogar zwei ältere Fahrräder für kleine Ausflüge. Der Pool war sehr schön und auch warm. Das ganze Haus ist sehr schön und freundlich eingerichtet. Wir waren 2 Familien und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein guter Ausgangsort für einen Strand und Surfer Urlaub. Aber auch nach San Sebastian oder bayonne ist es nicht so weit.

Kontxi and Xabi were very welcoming, and we were made to feel at home immediately. The apartment is beautiful, with amazing views of the hills. The garden was safe and secure for our 4 year old to play, with a trampoline and swings to keep him amused. There were some food essentials provided which was appreciated after a day of travelling. Kontxi provided many local recommendations in San Sebastianand the surrounding area. Our favorite part was being so close to the green path which stretched up towards the hills and to San Sebastian, which was perfect for early morning runs before it got too warm. The bakery close by and the fresh milk machine (milk pasturised that day!) Were also highlights. As users of AirBnB for many, many years, we agreed that Kontxi and Xabi were the best hosts we havd had. We would love to come back.

Paula met us when we arrived to show us the apartment and was very helpful. The location is very rural and beautiful with walkable trails from the house. Well organized kitchen for cooking meals. Lovely yard to relax , we had a lot of rain but when the sun came out we really enjoyed sitting out. Paula and her family were very kind and respectful.

Peaceful and beautiful location close to supermarket, bus stops beaches and the city. The Apartment was Spacious and the kitchen was well equipt. Patrice was available at all times and was interested in any feedback on his apartment.

Don't hesitate on this one! If it is available you need to book it. This was hands down the BEST Airbnb we have ever stayed in. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. Absolutely beautiful. Views are astonishing. Apartment felt like home. Impeccabily decorated and very clean. You can tell that it was designed with love. It is right in the middle of the bay so 15 minutes from old town and the funicular. Trausa is very sweet and responsive. She loves her home city and happy to share tips, etc. I look forward to when we can return.

Vi havde en rigtig fin familie ferie i Annie's bolig. Huset og byen ligger perfekt for vandreturer i området og korte dagsturer til f.eks. San Sebastian og til havet. Vi har nydt det rigtig meget.

A traditional building in the old quarter but the flat itself was very modern and in excellent taste. The old town was fascinating but the newer streets towards the Marina were also lively. Great recommendations for eating out and we tried most of them.

Highly recommended! Lovely apartment in a perfect location. 5 min walk to beach, 10 mins from the old town, lots of bakeries and cafes nearby. Great communication before checking in and we’d def come back!

We gathered at this beautiful, old Basque farmhouse for family birthday celebrations. It was ideal as it accommodates larger groups of guests. There was so much space to be together yet still have areas where you could find a quiet place to relax. The property is private, surrrounded by trees and with a gorgeous view over towards the mountains, yet close by Biarritz and very near to convenient shopping. We enjoyed having a lovely swimming pool and hanging out in the evening in the jacuzzi under the stars! There is a tennis court and indoor games, which we didn't use, as the weather was so beautiful. The house is very well appointed with lots of facilities and the hosts are delightful! They responded really promply to any queries and gave great advice on places to go and explore to discover the wonderful Basque landscape and culture. We all had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à 2 familles avec jeunes enfants dans cette magnifique maison :). L’accueil a été très agréable, les hôtes nous ont gentiment proposé d’adapter nos horaires d’arrivée et de départ dans la maison et nous ont donné de nombreuses recommandations pour le séjour. La maison est extrêmement bien équipée, décorée avec goût, chaleureuse, spacieuse, très confortable, la piscine chauffée est parfaite pour les enfants (et les adultes!), le grand jardin en lisière de forêt de pins a été très apprécié. Tout était parfait, nous reviendrons tous avec plaisir!! Merci pour les jolis souvenirs que nous garderons de notre séjour dans les Landes.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem Traumhaus. Es fängt alles schon bei der Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin an, die einwandfrei war. Sie meldete sich immer schnell und kümmerte sich stets um alle unsere Anliegen. Das Haus selbst ist wunderschön,modern und sauber. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und haben fast alle eigene Duschen. Es gibt ausserdem einen Spielbereich, mit Tischtennis, Tischfussball und Billiard. Die Küche ist gross und bietet alles was man braucht. Das Highlight ist natürlich der Pool, der sehr gut in Stand gehalten wird. Auch die Nachbarschaft ist toll: Ein ruhiges Quartier mit freundlichen Menschen und nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Nous séjournions entre amis avec 4 enfants en bas âge et tout s’est déroulé à merveille ! La maison était parfaitement équipée pour tous nous accueillir. Nous avons logé dans la partie « chambres » avec les enfants afin de ne pas gêner ceux qui n’en ont pas. Cela permettait également de faire une séparation sonore pour le soir. Lynn et Kristof nous ont mis à disposition du matériel de puériculture, ce qui nous a bien soulagé ! Ils avaient tout installé avant notre arrivée, y compris la barrière de sécurité pour la piscine. La cuisine est très bien équipée, les espaces sont grands. La maison est très bien située, à portée de marche de la plage, que nous vous recommandons au coucher du soleil! Tout est très carré dans la communication; nous avons pu préparer notre arrivée au mieux. Et tout était exactement conforme à la description ! Bref, un super séjour et nous recommandons cette maison à 200%!

We had an incredible time at the cozy home in Lezo! It was super comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was a lifesaver, always answering our questions right away. The grandkids had a blast with the toys and pool. We also loved the privacy, beautiful garden, and wooded area. The home was exactly as described. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere, and it was even better than we had imagined!

La maison était chaleureuse et fidèle à la description. Nous étions 6 adultes et c’était très confortable. L’accès à la plage est très facile en faisant une courte marche très agréable. À proximité de tout et emplacement idéal pour découvrir la côte basque jusqu’en Espagne et l’intérieur du pays. Région magnifique. Merci Laura!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la maison de Camille. Elle est grande et très agréable à vivre, idéalement située au calme tout en étant juste à côté du centre du joli village de Sare. Parfait pour découvrir la région tout en ayant un lieu calme et agréable !
