A beautiful retreat in a stunning location. The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and welcoming. Not only that but the hosts also are very generous and add additional touches - lovely Bread, butter, fudge, milk,wine- which is lovely to arrive to. The location is fantastic, just by the beach. A stunning location. We had such a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone, we would definitely stay again.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

We had a lovely week in the cottage. Our host Karen was welcoming and provided great directions making it easy to find the place. Roads are good and easy to navigate back and forth to Hayle and all routes from there within easy reach. Great location for exploring both North and South coasts all within 20-30mims max driving. While there is a 3 mile long gloriously sandy beach to walk and swim from within 5 mins walk of the property. Beach cafe is also very good for a light lunch, or afternoon tea or an ice cream. Thoroughly recommended. We will be returning I’m sure.

As a family of 4 the property was ideal, it had all the amenities required for our 4 day stay. The property is stunning, so tastefully furnished and decorated, it is in a prime location with stunning sea views. Its location is great for strolling into Penzance and a short car journey to local sites, such as the Minack theatre, which is well worth a visit as well as St Ives. We were luckily enough to meet Lenn during our stay, he knows the area well and gave some great suggestions as well as being a great host, we found the property easily and followed Lenn’s instructions to a tee, we would recommend Lenn and Gord’s beautiful property, and was very sad to leave it to come home, a stunning find x

A gorgeous house within walking distance of Hayle beach. The house was brilliantly appointed and was very comfortable. Gorgeous views over the estuary enhanced our stay. Annie was a great host - very responsive and informative.

We had a wonderful stay. The house and its surroundings were exactly as described – it really does have the feel of a luxury hotel, but with the warmth and space of a home. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, and welcoming. The views are stunning, and the beach is just a stone’s throw away – perfect for our 4.5-year-old to walk to. Town is also just a short five-minute stroll away. We’d also highly recommend Highlanes Fish & Chips – only a five-minute drive and well worth it. All in all, a lovely stay. Clean, spacious, fantastic views, and a brilliant location.

A blissful retreat, with absolutely stunning views. The Bothy is cozy and well kitted out, and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful.

Very comfortable house with cosy lounge great sofa and amazing TV. Great views and Porthtowan is an amazing unspoilt place. It’s a steep but short walk to the house. Outdoor seating area provides great views. The shower is great and the bed linen lovely.

Coastal path 20 minutes away, close to river Gannel. Which take you straight to Crantock beach where you can swim during low tide. David has everything you can need at his place. They have made it comfortable, cozy and feels like home once you get indoors. Our dog loved it as there was so much outdoor space.

Fantastic place to stay, with the beach only a few minutes walk away. Views are stunning and a lovely restaurant opposite the beach. Really close to all popular destinations in Cornwall. Melanie was very helpful providing lots of information on local food shops and places to visit. I would 100% recommend - 10/10

Beautiful house. We stayed with our baby and Sarah was really helpful when I messaged about the travel cot and highchair. Spacious parking space on a driveway. Lovely clean and spacious rooms. Would definitely stay again!

We had the most fantastic big family holiday here! The property easily accommodated 9 adults plus a wee one, with the hot tub and the games room being great bonuses to add to our enjoyment. The whole house was brilliantly equipped with excellent furnishings both inside and out on the patio, had very comfortable beds and the cleaning products and soap etc were very much appreciated. Having the Londis shop so close was very handy and we enjoyed some delicious food at the Jam Jar cafe/pizzeria just down the road. Newquay is just a short car ride away with all the beaches, supermarkets and restaurants you could ever want. There just wasn’t enough time to do everything we would have liked to do…..so we will just have to come back again!! Thank you for an amazing property where we could all gather and enjoy such a memorable holiday.

I had a wonderful stay at Alan’s Airbnb in Cornwall. The location is absolutely perfect – just a short stroll (less than five minutes) from stunning beaches, which made mornings and evenings especially relaxing. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and exactly as described, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a home from home.

Another fantastic stay at Creek Cottage - we loved every second and didn't want to leave. The property itself has everything you need and more for the perfect break with a great mix of relaxation but also facilities on site such as a pool, restaurant / bar & soft play - you will love it. The property itself has a beautifully positioned patio which includes a seating area in the tranquil spot by a little stream with parking directly outside the front door for easy access. As others have mentioned very thoughtful touches on arrival and also ample cutlery etc. for children which is a great bonus. Harry is a genuine host who gave clear and accurate information and support (if needed). We can’t wait to be back again for more family breaks in the future.

Beautiful property with a lovely seaview. It has a fully functioning kitchen with all the utensils you could need and a very comfortable sitting area. The property was spotless and very tastfully decorated. Melanie was informative and sent us lots of suggestions. It was very easy to check in. When we arrived there were essentials in the kitchen which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to staying there again.

Corri’s cottage is fabulous, beautifully decorated with comfortable sofas and beds. Kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed to cook on the few evenings we didn’t eat out. Lovely garden with sofas/chairs to lounge on which we did get to enjoy despite some mixed weather. Mousehole is a perfect place to set off on some stunning costal walks which is what we spent our week doing. We also enjoyed dinner at 2 Fore Street, Mackerel Sky & the Tolcarne Inn.

Wonderful house, perfect place for a holiday at st Ives

The villa is located at a very tranquil location with peaceful surroundings and very friendly locals who smile and greet you on your neighborhood walks. On a crisp morning, a walk to Lelant railway station and Anne's Woods is refreshing. About the cottage, it is spacious, full of air and light and very well equipped . Eclectic collection of books in a cozy reception is all you need to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen had a lovely tray of welcome goodies that we enjoyed along with provisions for hot beverages. The beds and linens were fresh and there was ample storage in each room to organise your things. Overall, a very comfortable and satisfying experience.

We where met by a very cheery Elizabeth. The house was very spacious in a peaceful location, with stunning views. Extremely well equipped house, Immaculately clean, Very well maintained. Lovely large bathroom with a large bath, one room with ensuite, a further two smaller bathrooms. Outside warm shower perfect for rinsing beach/sea clothes. Ample clothes drying area outside. Outside seating area at the top of the property (reverse living at its best) with views over St. Ives and out across the sea beyong Godrevy lighthouse. Cooler sleeping downstairs, with large sitting dining area at the top of the house. Games available for use in a cupboard. Toddler crockery supplied for use, along with a cot. Ample parking space for 2 vehicles. Everything within walking distance. Easily accessible for all of St. Ives beaches. Could not fault anything, will definitely return. Would highly recommend Elizabeth's property.

Great little place in an unspoilt fishing village. We loved Mousehole. Pros Felt at home. Super comfy beds, great linen & soft towels. We all slept extremely well. Some beautiful lounge chairs. We loved the leather chair in the lounge. Perfect for a morning coffee and the papers! Peaceful and great views of St Michael’s Mount etc. Cons Not many. Very uncomfortable sofa. Few chipped plates Not related to the house but Mousehole. The parking was very tricky. To the point we were unable to park on 2 occasions and my partner had to park quite far out of the village and walk home in the rain very late at night. It’s something to bear in mind. We wish we just got the local bus or taxis everywhere.

This is our second time staying at Bamaluz Beach House and it was just as lovely as in November. The house is perfectly located at the quieter end of the street overlooking Bamaluz Beach with it's turquoise water. Thanks Jonathon we will certainly be back again soon.

The location is perfect right on the beach and you can walk into the Harbour in minutes, the only downside is parking but we managed to park on the island car park. Lovely views of the sea from the rooms and the place was clean, had everything we needed would definitely book again.

Just back from a lovely 2 nights . Rosie’s communication was excellent and let us know when the cottage was ready so we were able to check in an hour earlier. Rosie had supplied , tea ,coffee,sugar some lovely Cornish biscuits and a pint of milk . Also plenty of loo roll , dishwasher tabs , washing up liquid and cloths were provided . ( thought this was worth knowing for future guests ) We took a trip to Marizion and then we walked from the cottage into Mousehole which was lovely , even spotted a seal along the way . Loved sitting in the window seats and reading my book while sipping a glass of wine . We truly enjoyed our little escape . Thank you Rosie
