Watch out, Wed 14th May check out at 9am instead of 11am. Apartment in the center, opposite Wiedikon train station, 10 min from Zurich HB. Many cafes and restaurants. Perfectly located to explore the city of Zurich and surroundings. This is my main accommodation so complete, a double bed + sofa bed, equipped kitchen, private bathroom, personal stuffs. Washing machine and dryer in the basement.

A large shopping center is a 5-minute walk away. The apartment has a garden and a beautiful view of our local mountain (Uetliberg). You will hardly find a better place to stay in Zurich. The neighborhood is very beautiful and quiet. Beautiful view of the city and the lake, but close to everything. Tram stops are 5 minutes from the house, but if you prefer to walk to the city center, you can walk through beautiful streets and in less than 30 minutes you will be in the heart of Zurich. The house is beautiful and full of history, it has a very pleasant garden with fruit trees, where we picked blackberries every day in the morning. That was an incredible surprise. The room is very large, comfortable and has a beautiful view of the greenery. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has absolutely everything we need. The house also has 2 very beautiful and modern bathrooms. We had no problem sharing the bathrooms and kitchen with the other residents. Everything was always very clean and organized. All the residents of the house are very friendly and did everything to make us really feel at home. I loved it!!

Staying at Erik’s beautiful home in Enge was an absolute delight. The location is perfect—just a short stroll from the river, which made for lovely morning walks and peaceful evenings. The home itself is stunning, especially the balcony, which offers a serene spot to relax and enjoy the view. Erik is an incredibly kind and generous host. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome—from offering delicious food and well-stocked coffee supplies to setting up the outdoor area perfectly on nice days. His home was spotless, particularly the bathroom, which was sparkling clean and well maintained. He also gave excellent directions and helpful local tips, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. And the best part? The great conversations. Erik is warm, thoughtful, and truly enjoyable to chat with. I can’t recommend this stay highly enough—thank you, Erik, for everything!

Not Just a Bed — A Real Host Too

The location is excellent, right across from a large Migros store, just a 3-minute walk to the tram, and a bus stop literally at the doorstep. Eder is a very friendly and welcoming host. He gave me a quick tour when I arrived, explaining the house rules clearly, which I really appreciated. We had some great conversations, he’s open-minded and easy to talk to, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I had a lovely time at Eder’s place and would definitely stay again if I return to Switzerland.
