Gorgeous gorgeous. Such a beautiful Property with so much character . It’s full of wonderful ornaments , books and furniture ! Kitchen is so well equipped and the upstairs is surprisingly spacious!! It was in the perfect location for our trip and there is a handy shop , pharmacy etc. loved our stay! Thank you

So impressed with Katie’s place. What a fantastic house it is. Tucked away down a long private road and at the end of it sits the property. My family and I loved it. Fell in love with the amount of rooms and just how much space there was. Great for dogs too. Lovely and clean and lots of nice touches. If you want to explore Sussex then this place is perfect. Easy to get around from here. For a long weekend break it was ideal. Thanks to Katie for making our stay an enjoyable one.

Just experienced the most perfect 3 day stay, in an absolutely ideal location in Rye. A spotlessly clean, stunning character filled property with low beams, wonky walls and sloping floors, which all add to it's wonderful charm. A very responsive, helpful and kind host, who really wants you to enjoy your time there. No questions too hard and always a very warm prompt response from Becky. We would 100% recommend this property and host, if your looking to book the perfect getaway in Rye. Great place to stay. We stayed with our two young children and my parents and it worked well for everyone. Good location, very short walk to the beach and walk/drive into Eastbourne. Easy to park on the street outside the house. Sam and Nick were very friendly and helpful.

Larissa was really accommodating and had great communication in the lead up to our stay. The barn and surrounding area were lovely. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was great! Very comfortable bed and a great night sleep, despite the heatwave temperatures which were outside of anyone’s control! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in or around the area.

We loved our stay in this immaculately converted barn. It is huge, plenty space inside for when it was raining. The pond and the jacuzzi were a real treat, and the games room was used by everybody. We loved our barbecues outside, overlooking the valley, listening to the chickens. And we couldn't believe we had breakfast with still-warm-from-just-having-been-laid eggs! We would have loved a dryer or a bigger outside drying rack for all our wet stuff, as we had a toddler with us, but that didn't spoil our fun. We will recommend this beautiful place to our friends!

Julie is an ideal host, very friendly and responsive. The static caravan is very well equipped with a kitchen, 2 toilets, one with shower, and a sizeable lounge /dining area. Would book again. David Maxwell

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

Lovely place to stay, everything close by. Ideal for us to visit family and friends. Everything we needed and more!! Clean and tidy and chocolate biscuits too! What more could you ask for!

Jonathan was a great host. I booked a last minute stay, he made sure the place was pristine and ready within an hour. I ended up extending my stay, which was quick and easy to arrange with no fuss. The home is cosy and quirky. Breakfast was amazing! And made me feel right at home. I stayed there with my 5 month old daughter. There was plenty of space either side of the bed for a travel crib which was great. The electric car charger was another great perk. Highly recommend!

It is the 4 th time I have stayed at this lovely cottage…which speaks for itself really ! What I love a love this place .. Spotlessly clean Really homely Amazing soft towels ….mine are never like that at home !!! Very generous welcome pack which is so appreciated. We had a very comfortable 3 night stay. The place was very clean & tidy. The outside area was spacious & useful area to play with our dog. It was secure for dogs as long as front gate was closed which it almost always was. It was a good base to explore the local area. Thank you

We returned for our second stay at The Cabin - it's the perfect place to explore the beautiful surroundings and The Cabin is very comfortable. Though small, it has everything you (and your dog!) would need for your holiday and the patio at the back is lovely. Sue is an excellent host and is very helpful. We definitely hope to go back for a third visit!

Pretty, cosy cottage in a small nest of converted, wood-clad farm buildings off the beaten track in deepest Sussex. Compact-but-cute bedrooms, attractive living area with sofas and well-equipped kitchen, small gardens front and rear. Local pubs a short drive away. Communication was excellent and speedy. I had such a lovely peaceful time in the shepherds hut. It was beautifully kitted out and the surrounding countryside was amazing. Emily was extremely friendly and helpful and although we didn’t manage to meet, I knew that she was always available if I had any queries. I would highly recommend anyone staying there.

We had a wonderful Father’s Day weekend stay at Jennifer’s place with our 11 & 8 year old children. Perfectly equidistant between Sissinghurst & Great Dixter. The house is so cute and had everything we needed. It’s down a lovely quiet road and was so peaceful and overlooked trees and fields. We also had dinner in the local pub (Bell) which was lovely.

Third visit to the Piggery, it's private, quiet and exactly what I want for me & my dog - which is why I go back and intend to go back again.
