At the foot of the Kellerwald National Park lies the picturesque village of Frebershausen. The apartment is part of our half-timbered courtyard, which we have lovingly renovated. With 55 m² on two floors, the apartment offers plenty of space for 2 people or small families. In the bedroom there is a large double bed and in the kitchen/living room the sofa bed offers another place to sleep. A private balcony and seating on the nearby hillside terrace with views over the village are included.

The location is ideal for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature, swimming lakes and natural surroundings. In nearby towns of Borken and Frielendorf (approx. 6 km), you will find all the major supermarkets and restaurants. Beautiful hiking trails invite you to slow down. We look forward to welcoming you!

Enjoy the hikes in the national park, refresh yourself at the many accessible springs, swim in the beautiful Edersee, visit pretty towns like Bad Wildungen and ....

Pure nature, birdsong, tranquility and a breathtaking starry sky. All this and so much more awaits you in our beautiful holiday home "Scheune", on the estate of the old watermill in Dodenhausen. Surrounded by a green idyll, you can relax and recharge your batteries. You can start your hikes on the Kellerwaldsteig directly from here. It is also possible to discover the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park with its wonderful possibilities and the Fairy Tale Route on wheels.

Our 120 sqm apartment is located in a 4500 sqm garden, surrounded by nature, between Burg and Kellerwald. The garden was laid out by a landscape gardener 30 years ago. Here you can find peace and relaxation or take beautiful excursions to Marburg or the nearby Edersee. The lake offers a variety of business opportunities. You are also welcome to start tours with our bicycles or hike and relax in our sauna in the evening.
