The village is rich in nature and has beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons. In winter, it is a popular ski resort. In winter, the world is covered in a blanket of snow, and from spring to summer, you can enjoy trekking and hiking in the mountains surrounded by fresh greenery. In autumn, you can see the rare "three-tiered autumn leaves" in Japan, which are formed by the snow-covered mountain tops, the trees with autumn leaves on the hillside, and the conifers at the foot of the mountain. Hakuba Village, where clear air and majestic nature coexist, is a special place to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and heal your heart in silence.

This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)

It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
