Bright, spacious well-located flatlet

The sunny south-facing guest suite is in our home in this busy village close to historic Oxford with great road, rail & bus links. A short walk to the station for a 10min train ride to Oxford (& London), a direct bus stops right outside our house, lots of woodland/country walks & Red Kites circling overhead. Blenheim Palace is nearby. A perfect base for exploring Oxfordshire & the Cotswolds. An excellent CoOp grocery, a fish‘n’chip/pizza takeaway, a b'fast cafe/coffee shop, and good local pubs.

'The Barn' is a newly renovated period barn finished to the highest spec located in stunning grounds in a very quiet no-through road. A small terrace behind the barn looks out onto a beautiful walled garden and the church spire at the end of the road. Oxford Parkway is only 5 minutes drive away and buses go frequently into Oxford from the end of the road. There are wonderful walks straight from the property, over the fields to the river and beyond.

It was a wonderful stay with Natasha and her family. I was made to feel so welcome and the room and facilities were everything I needed for the Nocturne concert at Blenheim Palace. I was driving so i really loved how it’s incredibly well connected to the park and ride (5 minute drive) and 14 minutes from Blenheim itself so that made everything a total breeze! 100% recommend and thank you so much for having me in your home 🥰❤️ I hope to return!

Clementine Cottage is perfectly located, a short walk to Woodstock or Blenheim Palace, and close to all the delights of the Cotswolds and Oxford. The cottage has been tastefully restored and decorated, with all the facilities for a very comfortable stay. We stayed as four adults and the cottage had everything we needed, clean, well maintained and good value. Nice touches all around made it a home from home feel. We will look to stay again.

I was highly impressed by having been given the opportunity to check in flexibly due to heavy rain at my arrival amongst others. Roger's partner Linda gave me a warm welcome, showed me around, and introduced me to Matthew, another very friendly tenant. Later, I got to know Roger's son Connor as well. Both Connor and Matthew were constantly available when it came to any questions. The accommodation is well-groomed and fully came up to my expectations. The individual bathroom is right next to the guest room, which is absolutely perfect. It's a good half an hour by the S7 or S4 bus to the Oxford City Centre. If one also wants to visit Oxfordshire beyond Kidlington with public transport, one should buy a My Bus Oxfordshire Adult Weekly Ticket which is worth it and cost just GBP 5 more than a Smart Zone Weekly Ticket. I highly appreciated the private atmosphere in Roger's accommodation. Five stars are nothing else but fair. Thank you. It would be a pleasure to get back in the future.
