Hanmer Family Hideaway

Our home is close to the centre of Hanmer Springs. It is situated on a private flat rear section with an outlook to the surrounding mountains. You are required to clean this home when you leave and bring your own bed sheets, pillow cases and towels. Or these can be provided upon request for an additional cost. Just a few minutes walk away is the Hanmer golf course, tennis courts, a children's skate park and playground. The village shops and hot pools are a 10 minute walk along flat streets.

Lovely warm and sunny, 3 bdrm house with great views of golf course and the mountains. A quick 15 minute walk into town. Situated on the flat with all day sun. Good size deck with outdoor table and bench seats to sit and enjoy the sun, the garden and relax while dining Plenty of firewood for the fire in winter. Immaculate house situated in Hamner village, a 5 minute walk into town. Very warm and cosy house with lots of sun and privacy. Sleeps up to 7 people. Main bedroom has an ensuite with a king bed. Second bedroom has a queen bed, Third has a double and a single in bunk format. As a lover of fine linen - all beds have 100% cotton percale sheets and silk, wool, feather or cotton duvet inners. Has a large wood fire and ducted air conditioning unit. Main bathroom has a luxurious freestanding bath.

Perfect location. Great property for a group of people. Kitchen was well setup. Easy walk into town and hot pools. Parking was not a problem. Lots of blankets and heaters. The log fire was amazing. Best of all - Carol is a great communicator. Kept us up to date with instructions.

Jennifer’s cottage was absolutely perfect for our needs. The beds were very comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. A great kitchen with everything you could need. And the living-room was very cosy with a log fire (and lots of dry firewood) and Sky TV. We also loved the very sunny living-room in the mornings. A great location with beautiful views of the mountains nearby. Very peaceful and we enjoyed the sound of the bellbirds from the deck. Jennifer was fantastic to deal with and we would highly recommend her and her bach.

Second time we’ve stayed here while visiting Hanmer with family, and another great place to stay. Very close to downtown and the water park. Only shortfall is dishes, glasses and cups are very limited, so you’ll need to hand wash before you come close to filling the dishwasher. Hand to believe they don’t stock more than six of each item.
