The light and airy cottages retain many original features including owl slit windows and exposed beams and offer very comfortable and spacious accommodation personally maintained by the owners. They are set within a sheltered valley on the southern boundaries of Dartmoor National Park surrounded by fields and woodland.

Sitting amongst beautiful, ancient beech trees, our cosy, straw bale barn is an ideal place to come and relax and to leave the world behind. The barn is detached and is surrounded by trees, open fields and the sound of birds and running water.

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. We are 1.5 miles from the village of South Brent which has all the amenities that you might need during your stay and plus some! "Swallows" is ideal for singles or couples seeking a holiday in South Devon as well as those looking for a longer holiday stay.
