The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely wonderful stay at Treetops. From the moment you shut the gate you feel like the stresses of the outside world have disappeared! Everything has been thought of and more! We loved watching movies on the giant screen, playing darts on the deck and eating tapas whilst watching the cows in the field through the tree canopy. Lisa and Martin are on hand if you have a queries or need anything but you wouldn’t know anyone was nearby as the whole place is so secluded and private! We loved the outdoor shower, what a treat and enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain! If you are unsure of wondering if it’s worth the money, DON’T hesitate you will never regret it! A truly special place and you can see the effort in every detail!

Stunning Views over the Swale, Barn Cottage.

LauraRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely stay in the cottage over New Year’s Eve. The wood burner made it feel very cosy, and it’s really well equipped - it has pretty much everything you might need for a few nights stay. The location is perfect for walking - we did a couple straight from the cottage, with really varied landscapes which were absolutely stunning, including rivers, big vistas and farmland, ending with an excellent pub in Gunnerside. Just a couple of things, which wouldn’t bring my review score down but worth noting - we couldn’t get the washing machine to work, which didn’t really matter to us but worth checking with Harriet if it’s an essential. Also, the hairdryer wasn’t great so worth bringing your own if your hair takes hours to dry like mine! Lastly, the sound system is pretty old and doesn’t have Bluetooth, so better bring a speaker if you like listening to music. Overall, we loved the cottage and had a fantastic stay!

Rural retreat with spectacular Swaledale views

MariaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
So lucky to have found this gem, thank you Pat for being such a wonderful host! Pat's place has beautiful views all round and it was a treat to see all the moorland birds. There was even a snipe one morning on the lawn, cuckoo, woodcock and short-eared owl in the adjacent fields. We enjoyed the remoteness and not having a mobile phone signal was a bonus. Pat was super helpful, the cottage is very generous with gated driveway, well equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms.

The Byre at Nethergill Farm - stunning views

EmilyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Absolutely wonderful cottage, beautifully decorated, friendly hosts, welcoming on arrival with Christmas tree and Christmas music playing. The only very minor downside is an early check out time of 9am. Would not hesitate to recommend, and hopefully will return to stay in the future.

Skylight

A really peaceful and quiet location, surrounded by fields. If you want to escape to the country, this is the spot for you. A short walk into the local town, walking along scenic views. The cottage is so cosy and well looked after. Skye was super quick answering any questions we had and gave us very clear instructions on how to access the property
