The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the Wanswert church. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we have used second-hand furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a pleasant living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden around it, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Unique views from your apartment and terraces. The large terraces on three sides of the house are all yours, so you can always find a space in the sun or in the shade. The west side has an amazing view of the IJsselmeer, the other sides have excellent views too. Two small beaches at walking distance. Free Wifi. Welcome to Villa Abbekerk! Built in 1875 by a famous doctor, this historic villa once hosted Paul Kruger and often Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands. The spacious penthouse apartment (185 m²) is on the top floor and includes a private bathroom, living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and Dutch bedstee bed.
