The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the park of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood-burning stove, a nice living environment arises. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

Enjoy water sports on the lake and discover the beautiful cycling routes that wind through the green landscape. The apartment is above our pavilion and has its own private entrance. The proceeds contribute to the sustainability of our park.

Probably the best IJsselmeer view in Friesland!

Unique views from your apartment and terraces. The large terraces on three sides of the house are all yours, so you can always find a space in the sun or in the shade. The west side has an amazing view of the IJsselmeer, the other sides have excellent views too. Two small beaches at walking distance. Free Wifi. In high season arrival and departure is only possible on Fridays (exception: June 28th, and July 5th). In low season it's also possible to book periods of minimum 3 days.

In the historic farm Klein Humalda, we rent out an attractive and spacious apartment for about 8 people. You have access to a large terrace, three bedrooms, sauna with plunge pool, foot baths, two showers and two sinks, separate toilet, kitchen and living room and private sports and play area (of 80 m2). The apartment is 10-15 minutes from Dokkum, the Wadden Sea, departure places to Ameland and Schiermonnikoog and the Lauwersmeer National Park.

This cozy apartment is right on Makkum Beach. From the sunny balcony you have a view of the lake and the cozy boulevard. The centre of Makkum is a 5-minute drive/30-minute walk away. Everything is at hand for the perfect holiday: surfing/sailing schools, the cruise boat, cycling and hiking routes, beach tents, the charming center of Makkum and of course the beautiful sunset! The apartment has a private parking space and storage for bicycles.

From this perfectly located home base, everything is at your fingertips. In the old hair salon of the island, you can feel like an islander. In the middle of the authentic village of Schiermonnikoog, you go back in time. You have your own terrace and entrance on the fronts of our house. We enter through the back entrance. This gives you privacy. Shops and beach are within walking distance. Beds are made at arrival, bicycles are ready. Enjoy!

Essenza Apartment

The apartments Essenza (No. 19) and Marc O'Polo (No. 21) are located in the bustling heart of Meppel, amidst many catering establishments, terraces and squares. The cozy, yet quiet Meppel (30,000 inhabitants) is located in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful villages of Staphorst (7km), Havelte (10km) and Giethoorn (13km). These tourist attractions are also easily accessible by electric bike (rent it for €25 per day).

Hiking, biking, riding on your own horse or just enjoying yourself. You can do it all. La Maison consists of a large living room with kitchenette, 2 large bedrooms with double beds, a large private bathroom, a private terrace and space to store your own horses

The apartment has a double box spring and a single bed. All provided with delicious all kinds of duvets. With its own entrance, toilet and bathroom, you can enjoy all privacy. The combination of the beautiful old details of the farm, with a hip styling, makes a very cozy apartment. ARUM. Near Harlingen, Franeker and Bolsward. A nice Frisian village, 10 minutes drive from the ferry to Terschelling and Vlieland.
