Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Hathersage

A beautifully designed house! Even better than the pictures and perfectly located. Tasteful decor and well equipped home meant this was a perfect stay for our birthday weekend away! We’d happily come and stay again!

We stayed here for a wedding and everything was spot on. The location is amazing, only about a 5 minute walk to everything we needed. I jokingly said it smelt like fresh bed when we opened the door - but that's exactly what it was as Paul had left us a note saying the fresh bread he'd baked us would be ready at 6! The fridge and freezer were also left full of supplies for us. Jill and Paul responded to our messages very quickly and helpfully throughout the stay and we would absolutely recommend staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay at Bridge Cottage. The cottage was nice and roomy. Comfy bed and kitchen well equipped. Easy check in. The village is lovely. Would definitely stay at the cottage again.

Richard's place has a lovely blend of feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere yet being only a 15 drive into thriving Buxton. It was warm, comfortable and a great size for a family get-together, with some amazing walks literally on your doorstep. We can all genuinely say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The Annex is a great place to stay. It’s very comfortable, local to the village pub and shop. Two minutes walk. And also to great walks. My furthest drive was 20 minutes to park and walk. Alison and Neil are extremely knowledgeable about the walks and willing to talk about them if you ask. Also very dog friendly. Totally recommend the Annex as a good base.

We had a lovely weekend stay in Baslow with our 3 year old son. The house was clean, cosy and felt really homely – perfect for our little family getaway. Kirstie was a fantastic host, super helpful with recommendations on local walks, places to eat, and things to do in the area. The welcome hamper and thoughtful essentials were a really nice touch and much appreciated. We’d happily stay again, thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

We had an amazing time at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. The location was perfect—quiet and convenient, close to everything we wanted to see and do. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Travelling during a heatwave, Flore's pad was just what I needed. A simple, cool, stylish, and very comfortable place to relax after a long day. Communication was spot on and instructions for getting in and checking out all very clear, with plenty of local tips offered on arrival together with a map. The local area is pleasant, and pretty walkable. I was able to cycle comfortably from here into town each day - with Flore allowing me to bring my bike in for added security. I particularly enjoyed having my own private garden to relax in over breakfast and the inclusion of a digital radio, toaster, tea and coffee supplies really made my stay. I'm sure I'll be back. Thanks for having me!

Had an amazing few days walking around all the peaks, with this beautiful place to come back to in the evenings and play some cards and go to the recommended pubs. Really friendly host with lots of good recommendations. Will defo be visiting again! Thank you for a great trip.

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Rosie’s place was **absolutely perfect** in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need – from fresh linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Rosie herself was an **exceptional host**: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us great local tips (like her favorite coffee shop downtown!), and was always quick to answer questions. The little touches – like coffee, snacks, and a handwritten welcome note – truly made us smile. The location was **ideal*– quiet, safe, and just a short drive to Peak District . We loved coming back to such a peaceful space after exploring Peak District. **Everything was exactly as described** (or better!) in the listing, and check-in/checkout was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. We had a great stay at Ladybird apartment which suited us perfectly for going to a wedding nearby. The outside space looked great but we didn’t use it due to being out most of the time, and the apartment had everything we needed. Thank you Richard, good to meet you.

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

whoaw. What an incredible place to stay. Stunning cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting with easy acces to many walks and places to visit. Spotlessly clean and a fully equipped kitchen with top-notch equipment with extra bonus of fridge and freezer. Jasper our dog was very well looked after and even Paula looked after him whilst we visited Chatsworth house. I loved the alpacas and their cute little voices. This little gem is a must if you vist the Peak District. one of the best if not the best Air B and B. we stayed in and we have been to many. Thanks Paula and Rob for looking after us. We didn't want to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Angus is a fabulous host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His home is absolutely stunning, with decor that’s truly to die for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. Wirksworth is a charming village, full of independent shops and cosy cafés. As first time visitors to the Derbyshire Dales, this was the perfect introduction, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon.

We had a slight issue with the bathroom prior to check-in but Khateeb responded excellently resolving the issue with pace and transparency. Great location, lovely flat

This is a little gem. Felt very private and yet hosts were just next door and really helpful. Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance, and really well equipped accommodation. Fresh decor & lovely and clean . Lots to do nearby, on the edge of the peak district and yet really convenient for transport link, including the airport. We felt very lucky to have found this at relatively short notice!

The house is within a lovely, peaceful place, where you can easily take buses to the Chatsworth house. The studio is super clean, almost spotless and very safe (I’m a female traveler who travels alone and totally feel safe here). Ms Deborah is very nice and she provided milk, cereal, energy bar to make you feel at home:) Definitely recommend!

Beryl and her son are wonderful people ,they are super friendly .I loved the apartment it was sparkling clean and fresh smell ,bed was extremely comfortable. Everything you would need is provided .The garden is fabulous and very dog friendly. The area has lots of great walks ,the nature reserves are wonderful. felt very safe and relaxed and cannot wait to return . Thank you so much Beryl ☺️
