We had a wonderful weekend at Windy Oaks! The space is perfect for a couple. Location is ideal to spend a day at the beach. Highly recommend for your next trip to Avon!

Perfect for two of us plus our dog. The deck is lovely with new furniture and the view can’t be beat. Easy bike or golf cart ride to the Village and the owners are friendly and responsive.

Nice place to stay! Friendly people and everything went smoothly. We appreciated the kitchen utensils, extra towels, etc that were provided. Would stay again!

I highly recommend this place. Quiet and peaceful yet close to everything. I’m looking forward to returning. The host was wonderful and has great recommendations.

We enjoyed our stay at Nikki’s apartment very much. The space is very clean, inviting and had all the amenities listed on the description. The photos are accurate and reflect the second floor apartment well. We like to cook a few meals while traveling and found all the pots, pans and utensils we needed in the kitchen. New appliances are also available. It is located in a peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Nikki and her husband were friendly and available if needed. Would definitely consider returning again.

Fantastic views, cozy, great bed… lots of positives to say about this gem! The owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Fantastic back porch overlooking the Pamlico Sound. Very quick drive to Hatteras and Buxton, where there are plenty of fantastic restaurants. And a huge hot tub!

We loved our stay at James’ condo. The location is away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to get to everything within minutes. The condo itself is directly across from the pool, which was perfect for us. Our kids loved walking around the marina and watching all the boats. The condo is updated, very clean, and had everything we needed. James was very responsive with any questions we had. We can’t wait to go back!

This stay was wonderful. The place was very comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful area that’s not busy at all—perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved how private it felt, with no noise or crowds nearby. The best part was the million dollar, unobstructed view of the ocean—absolutely breathtaking and worth every penny. Nancy was very responsive, making check-in and communication seamless. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Ohana Hale. The location was absolutely perfect with a short walk to the beach. The house itself was probably one of the best we’ve stayed at when it comes to amenities. It had everything we needed and more, from a fully stocked kitchen with every gadget and utensil you could think of, to plenty of games, books, kayaks, and a well-maintained hot tub. My family and I felt completely at home and really appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the house. The king suite with the sunroom and private deck was especially relaxing. If you enjoy fishing, paddling, or just soaking in the views, you will love this place! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway with family or friends!

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! Paradise!! This home makes you feel like you’re living in paradise! The pictures capture the home but to be there live is on another level! The home was extremely clean and fit our family of 7 perfectly but could have easily added more people to the home. We cooked every day and all cooking utensils we needed were in the home. We walked to Food Lion and Duck Donuts (10-15 min) because there is a sidewalk on the main road. I would absolutely come back to this home and would HIGHLY recommend The Beach House to everyone I know who would like to visit OBX.

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

Great location, easy access, cleanest jacuzzi I've seen, fantastic pool, close to the beach through a 100 yard trek through some brush, a path with stairs, and a mid-sized dune. Comments from my friends: 1) a lot of stairs and incline beach access for people with mobility issues. 2) Game room is completely separate from the rest of the house. 3) No staircase to top floor from the deck, but no biggie. 4) Great spaces and amenities, but bathrooms do not have fans or opening windows so watch out there.

Our stay was great. Ma was very helpful and responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we need. The house was great, right on the water, very peaceful yet walkable to town.

We had a great time at Sushma’s house. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and extras like dishwasher pods and trash bags. We also appreciated the availability of sand toys, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, pool floats and beach chairs. There were numerous decks to enjoy the sound side views. The house was spacious and very comfy. We split our time between the ocean, the pool, the sound side and even took the ferry to Ocracoke. Sushma was very responsive and a great host. We have rented from outer beaches realty in the past and this was a far superior experience.

We always have an amazing time when we stay at Maggie’s place! It feels like home away from home!

A beautiful condo in a beautiful location! The furniture was very comfortable and the condo was fully stocked. The living/dining space was bigger than we expected from the pictures which was a nice surprise. The community was peaceful and had tons of opportunities for walking around.

Jeff was very vocal and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay with my family and dogs.

If you are looking for a small place to just get away by yourself for a week I recommend this place. You can sit out on the balcony and watch the sunrise and drink your coffee. I personally loved that there was a nice breeze all the time and the view was amazing. It is great having a full kitchen and the ability to do laundry.

Beautiful condo with an outstanding view of the ocean. The unit was clean, well maintained and the hosts were very responsive. We had a great experience!

Diane's place was just what we were looking for. Great view of the Sound and just a short walk to the ocean! The sunsets were beautiful with a great view from the balcony. Would definitely stay here again

The location was away from the hustle and bustle of the OBX. It was very quiet. Met a neighbor who was very friendly. The location is just a little walk from 2 good restaurants. The condo was very nice inside and very accommodating.
