Holiday rentals with lake access in Haverhill

This was a great space for our family of four. It was comfortable and private, and we still had access to conveniences like groceries nearby. We enjoyed our visit and would come again.

John's place was perfect for us to enjoy three days of much needed family time. We played games sitting in the living room with morning coffee or evening wine. We made some simple meals, cooked fiddle heads. The high speed internet helped my daughter to complete some work. We basically enjoyed the second spring there as the field around the house were filled with tulips.

Matthew’s home was very comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. There was lots of space to spread out. The big room with the bunk beds was spacious for the kids to play. Matthew was super responsive and provided lots of local recommendations. The area/community seems like an amazing place to visit in the summer months. We went Memorial Day Weekend so the pool wasn’t open quite yet (it was rainy and cold anyway!) but I’m sure coming back in July or August would be amazing. The community has a lot to offer like pool, lake, playground etc. It’s a 10 min drive to the nearby town where there are a few great places to eat and a convenient Walmart that delivered groceries to our house. Matthew has a ring camera and was able to confirm our groceries were delivered since they arrived a little before we did. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area, and would recommend Matthew’s home to others!

Jason was one of the most responsive hosts we have ever had. He answered whatever questions we had and immediately resolved minor issues like how to regulate the mini splits. The house has a nice view of the lake, and the separate deck amidst the trees offers some serenity. The lake is a great place for swimming too. We love to hike and there are wonderful trails within 15-40 minutes.

Kathy's cabin on the lake is the most magical place - quiet, peaceful and beautiful, the log cabin a throwback to an earlier time (but with great wifi). We sat on the dock with coffee and listened to the sound of loons out on the water. Kathy is also a great host. We will be back (we have actually stayed here a number of times because it's really the most lovely).

Great house with beautiful lake view and comfortable set up. Everything was clean and in good shape. Steve was responsive with communication and provided all the info we needed. I would recommend staying here.

It was a great two week stay.. I enjoyed being at this lake house. The lake is across the road, and pretty to look at on the balcony. The clear view of the lake walking and driving in the morning was very peaceful. His dock is the nicest in comparison to his neighbors. Kitchen was very well equipped, top notch washer and dryer, excellent lighting , beds and linens were comfortable, couch was large, easy to sprawl out and take a nap. Michael was available and easy to communicate. The high reviews are true, he cares and is thoughtful . I look forward in future stays .

If I could rate this 6 stars, I would. The house was immaculate, Christie communicated early and often, and my wife and I (and our two bloodhounds!) absolutely adored sitting on the massive open porch watching the Vermont skies roll by on Friday night. The large windows looking out onto the gardens made morning coffee special, and the property had just been freshly mowed and served as an incredibly playground for the hounds. We just wish we could have stayed longer! For those looking for the epitome of a Vermont get-away with an abundance of privacy and tranquility, this is your spot, no questions asked. A very comfortable abode. Would recommend. Was concerned about our uke music and voices disturbing residents above us. Especially liked the nearby rail trail for walking and biking.

This is the kind of airbnb I'm excited to visit and support -- really lovely, cozy place with a lot of character and everything we needed to make ourselves at home for a week. The proximity to Chocorua is fantastic and it's a good spring board to the lakes region & and the White Mountains. Becky is fantastic - super friendly, responsive, and kind. The wifi was strong enough for me to work there for a few days and we had all the supplies we needed to cook for ourselves. The only issue was the road noise, which was pretty loud during the day, but thankfully quieter in the nights.

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend - easy access to Stowe and Waterbury. Very quiet and peaceful area which was perfect for us as we wanted to get away and unwind.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect. It was quiet and private while being close to the conference center (a 3 minute walk) and shops/restaurants of the town square (a 5 minute walk). The condo was exactly what we needed and extremely clean. The kitchen is nicely updated and the living room area has lots of natural light and is perfect for watching a movie after dinner. This is an end unit and faces the woods instead of the road or parking lot which added to its peacefulness. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice condo. The downstairs bedroom and the upstairs bedrooms are very separate. I’d say you get kids could not stay in the downstairs queen bedroom and it’s not at all in ear shot of the upstairs bedrooms. Bathroom with shower is on first floor. Half bath is upstairs. Living room is on second floor. TV’s were easy to use. House was clean. It’s not handicap friendly so if that’s an issue I’d choose another place. The condo is down several stairs and decking. There were plants of parking spaces in the lower lot. Heat worked great. Place was cozy.

We loved it here. Quiet and amazing sunrise view. We ended up extending our stay a week longer. Lindsay was quick to respond and we enjoyed our stay.

The place was great. It is right on a river and walking path and very close to town. The amenities were great. The place was clean, and Ruth was extremely responsive.

This place was really nice! Its on a beautiful lake with a lot to do! Jessica had plenty of kayaks, canoes, and life vests. The surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. The location is great with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. It's also very close to many great hiking areas Mt Washington.

We enjoyed a great weekend getaway at this place. Denise was a great host who were helpful and always quick to respond. The house is cozy and clean, perfect size for two adults. It is conveniently located while being private. We kayaked on Paugus Bay and hiked Mt Major. Would definitely come back again.

Enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin steps away from the lake! Rose was a delight to work with and gave us recommendations for places to visit around the area. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place nestled in nature.

I had a nice stay at Alexa's. It's beautiful, quiet and ideal to get some rest while being surronded with nature. The best!

Loved our stay at this peaceful lake. The house is perfect- cozy and has everything you need. We loved paddleboarding and the access to cute downtown North Conway is ideal!

The cottage was excellent! Exactly what we needed to ski and explore the White Mountains. Very comfortable and cozy.

We stayed there for a concert at Bank of NH Pavilion with my family. The location was great. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Beautiful walk around the neighborhood in the am and everyone was very friendly. Craig was very responsive and detailed with everything we needed for check in and check out. Would highly recommend and hope to come back ourselves sometime!

This space is functional, cute, and clean. There are clear instructions throughout and the host communicated well. The location is excellent too - just a short walk to the beach. The beach itself is very small but cute and convenient. And the house is well stocked (cookware, blankets, etc). Overall, we had a great stay, it's a great deal, and we'd happily stay there again! The only SMALL caveat is that there are house rules, including that you're expecting to clean up after yourselves (not allowed to eat or drink in the living room, asked to strip beds, start a load of laundry, start the dishwasher, take the trash and recycling out before you leave). This is in addition to a cleaning fee. This is common for AirBnBs and was fine for our group! We'd be happy to stay there again, it's just worth mentioning that you should make sure you have time for that on check out day. Even with the cleaning fee, this is a great deal and I highly recommend this house!
